I am laughing at some of these "fixes".. remove the carburetor, take it to the dealer, he will know what you need. There is a rebuild kit (or new plunger kit) for this pump.. you MIGHT be able to clean it and replace the o-ring (NOT WITH A BIGGER ONE) - but the correct one..I know this is a pain in the a$$.. let a professional repair/fix it instead of guessing..

YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE APART AND PUT A BIGGER RUBBER O RING INTO IT.

I have a 2004 artic cat 400 4/4 starts and drops dead will not start back up have to wait a few minuets start up drop dead put new carb,ign.coil,voltage reg.on it

Has the control system been scanned for fault codes? Do that first.

Hi Robert, Seems like your fuel pump is on it's way out, There's three links below, The 1st link is a youtube video showing how to test and fix a ( CAR ) fuel pump, The 2nd youtube video is a guy fix/clean an Arctic Cat EFI fuel pump and the 3rd is a youtube video of a 1998 Arctic Cat ZL 500 fuel pump...I hope they help....CHEER.
