2000 jetta doesn't blow cool or cold air out,of the a/c.
My 2000 jetta's air conditioner doesn't blow out cold air, it does blow out air, but not cool or cold air. do you think it needs charged? or something else?
I had the same problem and took it in to VW. They said I needed some kind of compressor and quoted me $1,200. Afterwards, I was driving and literally hit a bump in the road and the air conditioning started working again. It is down again, but I did get an extra season out of it. Yes, after 9 years it needs to be recharged. Have a shop with a good reputation do it. Dont go cheap. It should hooked up to a machine so you can see how much leaked out,and test for leaks. shouldnt be more than $100

sounds like your cooling system isn't full. with the heater on Hi refill the cooling system and bleed it until all the air comes out. Sometimes you need to raise the front of the car. And there may be a bleed screw on the thermostat housing.
