I have dark spots with fuzzy edges on viewer of fe-4030 Olympus camera

There should be a reset in the toolbox settings menu. Or contact your retailer. Any reputable retailer of that type equipment should be able to help you.

This indicates damage to the lens mechanism and needs repair.

Make sure you hold the camera steady .It has been my experience that if you hands arent steady your going to get a blurry pictures and also it will look blurry in the LCD window.

If this is a black spot that's in the same place on the LCD screen I would say that there are several pixels that have burnt out and definitely a warranty case.

Assuming this is a blank card. The card may have to be formatted. This uaually found under menu>tools>format.

Yes I have had the same problem, took it to the shop and they said it had been dropped, but I know it hadn't been.

go to its settings and fix the lighting for the lcd pannel. then you will be able to see the flash yes or no click yes..

If you are able to take photos then I suggest you make a few to figure out if they are also dark like the viewer edge. If they are OK, enjoy the camera while it lasts and perhaps you can adapt to not having a clear view to the edge. I recommend against spending the money to repair this camera as it will likely exceed the cost of replacing the camera.
