Won't work except in one position.

I have a mighty bright flashlight model no. 36902. It's worked great for about a year but I now find that if the head/arm is not positioned just so, it will not work. This is the 3rd one I've owned and I'd like to know if it can be fixed.

Model 42LN5700. What caused backlight failure?

Backlights do fail, and can be replaced. If the set is more than 5 years old, it could simply be backlight failure.

Aluratek at107f , unit won't boot up

Had the same problem with mine the other day. Go outside in the sunlight or use a flashlight. Touch the menu hard key. you should hear it click. Using the bright light, click on settings, go to display, and turn up the brightness. I know this sounds elementary but for what ever reason, this device, when it goes into sleep mode, will adjust the brightness settings down. Hope this works for you.

Zenith dvd/vcr model ABV341 DVD WON'T STAY IN TO PLAY...VCR WORKD FINE

If the door does not close either something ( a coin or anything) got inside or there is a issue with the mechanism= alignment or possible bad part in that mechanism that loads and positions the disc.

A suggestion when door opens try to take a quick look inside with a flashlight to see what you can.

Re: DeWalt 18V XRP Cordless Drill Driver. Should performance of the drill slow as battery becomes weaker? My drill works fine for quite some time then suddenly loses all power, even the light won't...

Yes. It's kind of like a flashlight when your batteries get low the light get dim, but if you replace the batteries light gets bright again. The drill will get weak as battery get low.

Eveready 6volt plastic flashlights do not work more than once.

Here in the UK I have never had much luck with flashlights (or torches as we call them!) stored in the car-exactly the same problem as you -the battery is always flat when you come to use it. I have even tried slackening the base off to break the contacts-makes no difference. Best to get a rechargeable one like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-pcs-15-LED-RECHARGEABLE-WORK-LIGHT-FLASHLIGHT-TOOLS-/330510652438?hash=item4cf3f85416:m:m9OEtxPyWSFj8nAyzf1i4Mw
Only downside is you can't leave this model on charge so if you can try to find one with a regulated power supply which can be left permanently on charge without damaging the batteries. Avoid the million candlepower ones too-yes they are very bright but only last 15 minutes on a charge!

New Bright Model #183 - how do I make the train go? The light works when the engine switch is in forward and reverse, but the train doesn't move (wheels do not turn). The music plays from the coal are -...

This train set is very particular and getting it to work each Christmas is a family tradition in frustration. First you must make sure that all the pieces of track are connected properly and that the track is perfectly symmetrical and flat. We double-check the battery positions every year and find one in wrong. There are + and - signs, but they're hard to see; use a flashlight. There is a black toggle switch below and behind the red stack that toggles forward (to make the train go forward) and backwards (reverse); straight out perpendicular to the train is the "stop" position. Also, you have to start at a stop/switch station. One other note: behind the red stack, there is a smaller black stack. If you turn this, you can make smoke come out of the stack. I think I remember someone suggesting a drop of cooking oil. Hope this helps!!! Hope you get it set up for Christmas!!!
