Histogram Hi! This is probably a simple problem with a simple solution, but I can't solve it! How do I get rid of the histogram display which automatically displays when I review a photo.I can get rid of it by pressing the "ENTER" button, but then I can't continue to review the other photos I've taken. I didn't have the histogram display until recently, so I must've pressed the wrong button somewhere! Help! Please.... thanks, Crisse

What is excel

Hi,

Microsoft Excel is a commercial spreadsheet application . It features calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and a macro programming language called Visual Basic for Applications.
Microsoft Excel has the basic features of all spreadsheets, using a grid of cells arranged in numbered rows and letter-named columns to organize data manipulations like arithmetic operations. It has a battery of supplied functions to answer statistical, engineering and financial needs. In addition, it can display data as line graphs, histograms and charts, and with a very limited three-dimensional graphical display.

Shrey

How do I turn off the histogram

Try pressing up/down on the multiselector while reviewing a photo to see whether you can cycle through the different views of your photo.

If this doesn't do it, please reply to this post specifying the model of your Nikon camera.

There is a rectangle with red lines and yellow blobs on the display. how do I get rid of it

Is this when you're reviewing pictures? If so, it sounds like a histogram. Simply press up/down on the multiselector until you find a view you like.

Strange icon on display in playback mode

You can get rid of the icon by first turning off the "Histogram" icon in the display/view menu.

Note: Histogram icon is the one that allows us to view and check the exposure correctness of a picture.
