No response In the top left hand corner of the screen i have a padlock looking icon and i cannot get rid of it. The Ipod buttons are not responding to presses, ie. cannot switch ipod on/off. I can plug it into the usb on my pc and it opens itunes, but all that is displayed on the screen is " Do Not Disconnect ". Incidently, i have just purchased this ipod on ebay and it was advertised and packaged as brand new, and battery shows that it is charged. Any ideas as to the problem. Thanks for any assistance. Dave

I did think about the hold switch and i have moved it both ways several times but the icon is still there. Do you think it could be a faulty switch??

That icon means your hold switch is on, follow this link and refrence page 5. http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/iPod_Features_Guide.pdf The hold switch is located on the top of your ipod and it slides left & right, this feature allows you put it in your pocket while playing music and you don't have to worry about accidently hitting buttons, it locks all buttons out hence the pad lock icon. Good Luck L8R

If that's the case then yes I would assume it's a faulty switch. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, It's probably a quick a fix but you need to take it apart and that can be tricky.

    Good Luck again

Its a lock with an arrow circal round it near the battery icon

You phone has it's screen rotation locked so if you turn the phone on it's side the display does not automatically turn, great for reading in bed. Double clicking your home button so that currently running apps are shown then keep swiping these icons to the right until your iPod controls appear, you should see an icon with a circular arrow. Click this.

Honeywell DT200 thermostat is not responding to any buttons pressed. Display is showing small flame icon on left of screen and what looks like a battery in top right hand corner. Any suggestions?

The thermostat is calling for heat, and the battery icon means that the batteries are low and should be replaced. If the thermostat is wired to run on battery power alone, replacing the batteries usually corrects this problem. Hope this helps! Jim

Padlock, blue screen

Somehow in handling the remote control I pushed a button or combination of buttons and now have a blue screen with a lock symbol in red in the top left hand corner. I've tried turning the tv off, and unplugging it, as well as a combination of buttons on the remote, but it still is there.
What do I need to do to remove the lock?

Very small problem

If you have the original remote, press display and hopefully the AV6 display will go away.

Flashing padlock icon in the middle of the screen

When the icon is in the unlock position, hold down the Menu key (the far left button in the lower righht hand corner) on your monitor. This should bring up the menu. From there, you can reset the factory settings.
