Here is how to reset you ipad with out a passkey, Warning it will wipe all the data from your ipad

here's what you'll need to do:

  • Plug the iPad into your computer
  • Launch iTunes
  • Hold down the Power button and the Home button at the same time
  • Keep holding both of these buttons for 10 seconds
  • After 10 seconds pass, release the Power button but continue to hold the Home button for another 20-30 seconds
  • When in recovery mode, your iPad screen will stay completely black. If you see an Apple logo or otherwise you did not enter recovery mode correctly and you will need to redo the first steps
  • iTunes will notify you that it has detected a device in recovery mode
  • Now you can use itunes to restore your ipad to factory settings without haveing to enter the passkey

Ipad forgotten password

From the apple support site:

iOS: Forgotten passcode or device disabled after entering wrong passcode When you set up a passcode to secure the use of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and then enter the wrong passcode, you may see a a message saying your device is "disabled". Learn what to do if you have forgotten or can't remember your passcode, or if your device displays a message saying it is disabled. If you enter the wrong passcode six or more times, you'll see a message that says one of the following:
  • iPhone is disabled
  • iPad is disabled
  • iPod touch is disabled

  1. Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes.
Note: If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you have synced with. Otherwise, go to "If you have never synced your device with iTunes, or you do not have access to a computer" section below.
  2. If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes.
  3. When the backup and sync is complete, restore your device.
  4. When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup".
  5. Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup of your device.
Hope this helps!

Ipad says disabled

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212

If you don't remember setting up a passcode on your ipad, maybe someone else did, and then entered the wrong passcode more than six times, resulting in a disabled ipad.
In the link above you will see instructions on how to deal with this problem, which pretty much boil down to connecting your ipad to itunes and restoring from a previous backup that you may have saved.
If you never created a backup, you can still reset and wipe your ipad from itunes, resulting in everything being erased, but at lease giving you back full use of your ipad.

Good luck!

Disable password on my ipad

First of all, to turn off or change settings for the passcode lock feature on your iPad you must know your passcode. If you have forgotten your iPad passcode you're out of luck.
To turn off passcode lock:
1. Navigate to Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock
2. Enter your passcode.
3. Touch the top button labeled Turn Passcode Off.
4. Enter your passcode again.
The passcode is now deactivated and will not be required to accessicon1.png your iPad.

Try connecting it to iTunes, turning off the ipad, then hold both the lock and the home button for 10 seconds, then relese the lock button while continuing to hold the home button until iTunes recognizes the iPad. Then you should be able to reset it without problem.
