SOURCE: ac not blowing cold after outside temp reaches 98 degrees

Sounds like you have dirty condenser coils. Remove the upper shroud and check the condenser for clean. Take a water hose and gently spray out the coils paying special attention not to bend the coils over with too much pressure. This will allow more air movement through the coils and give you better cooling efficiency.

Hope this helps,

Jeff

Some manufacturers use phone line to use as communication between control box on AC unit & thermostat. (very common.) Make sure 120VAC is on, and pull cover off thermostat & look for a glass type fuse possibly blown.

SOURCE: I have a Dometic duo

It may be your thermostat is broken, the thermostat controls when to cut in & cut out the compressor. Try to jump compressor wires and test it. Does the fan run ? Also, check the breaker box where the fuses and such are located.

Dometic roof top AC unit compressor turns on even if T-stat is off. Only way to get the compressor from turning on is to turn the breaker off. Unhooked T-stat wires to see if issue was there but the...

Sounds like you may have a couple of problems there. First, have you checked incoming voltage to make sure you are getting 100-120 VAC at the AC control board in ceiling? If that's ok, try removing/disconnecting Ac compressor wire at ceiling control box and see if compressor shuts off then. May be a capacitor for compressor going or shot, and possibly relay in control box sticking, or bad wiring to thermostat. Have you had any lightning in the area prior to all this happening?

Air conditiner nevers shuts off is it suppose to when it gets to tempe or will blower keep running

Most Rooftop RV Ac's iv seen the fan does not shut off, However if yours is one that should shut off completly then It more then likely is either the T-stat, Fan relay, or in some cases there is a Control circuit board, Just depends on what is inside of the unit.
May also want to check and see if there is maby a contactor that may be stuck in the closed position and not opening when T-stat is satisfied. Good Luck

This goldstar air conditioner model is WG2405RY7 It has an energy saver, but the unit just keeps running and won't shut off, everything else works.

Doe's the temp reach the set point? If not then it will run until it doe's. If you set the stat warmer and the fan keeps running after compressor shuts off check to make sure it is in power saver mode. Most AC units keep more even temp when fan is left on.

Blower fan wont shut off

Try cycling the switch at the furnace to reset the blower board. If this doesn't work remove the green wire from the blower board(computer board) to eliminate a shorted t-stat or shorted wire between the furance and t-stat. If blower remains on, then blower board is shorted. I've seen all these problems.

Furnace blower not working how it should

first off buy yourself a honeywell stat, in my personal opinion lux stats are garbage, I have run into so many that are bad stats !!! but as far as your fan not shuting down, sounds to me like your fan center on your circuit board is bad and will not shut down the fan when needed, you will have to replace the circuit board, as the fan center is a part of the whole of the circuit board, hope that helps

Refrigerator runs almost all day

Your refer will run about 85% of the time, But if your refer items are freezing i would recommend you replace the refer t-stat. The only time your unit will shut down is when it's in a defrost ( about every 8 hours for 30 Min's or less ) and by your t-stat when it reaches temp, if you have it set to a warmer setting and it's freezing you items then for sure you have a bad t-stat. Hope this helps you
