Nozzles sound blocked.this is usually fixed by poking the jet housing on the bonnet /hood with a fine needle.Road grim ,dust ,sand, mud can block these jets.Still not able to free by this method you can try removing the jet housing and soaking in warm water and detergent.then blow through or use empty syringe.
Ok well had same problem. The drain hose is blocked and is backing up and coming out of top of drain plug and tube into the car so the tube hanging down in engine bay left side of motor may be blocked with mud dirt or something else so check it and with aircon on if the water is not dripping out of the drain tube then it is blocked
Hi, The only way the mud or water has got into the heads is if the engine or exhaust is stuck below the mud/water. Try to see if the exhaust is clear of mud or water if this is blocked then you will not start. But I think you may just have the starter motor has got mud into it, in which case you need to get vehicle pulled out & bump start it, IE: whilst either pulling or better to push the vehicle & get it to start. Do not turn it off until you have given vehicle a run as this will eliminate any mud around the flywheel which is why the starter will not work. Please leave me feed back: Malcolm Campbell, Thanks.
your filters should have prevented mud from getting to your injetors, water in the system can cause some problems but nothing so drastic as to change the injectors injector pump or the rail....change your filters, water collectors. make sure there is no more mud or water in your tank . not familiar with that particular engine but you may have to bleed the injection system....oh and get a new mechanic
(1) Possibly your airbox feeds from low down, usually a vent intake in front of the front wheels, either mud or water has got in and blocked it temporarily. (2) and/or your exhaust has blocked, especially if you reversed or slid backwards at any point.
well dude, it depends on what the shape the vehicle is in. i just bought a loaded 2001 durango 4x4 all power, black leather, heated seats...etc. i bought it for $2800. but its had 2 weird noises, (probably why i got such a good deal) one sounded like lifter noise in the engine that slowly went away for the most part when the engine heated up, it turned out i had an exhaust manifold bolt snapped off in the block. after a trip to the parts store, 60 cents, and 30 minutes i had the problem solved. then the other weird noise was a loud humming noise heard from about 20mph-80mph. some grinding when i turned, lots of clunking noise. thankfully my brother is a mechanic, he said it was probably a wheel bearing. so i went to O'riely auto parts, they wanted $237 for the whole wheel bearing/hub. so i went home and ordered one off the internet from AM autoparts, shipped to my house for $103 instead of O'reily's 237. and turns out it completely solved my problem, took about 1 hour to change. love the durango, drives good, sounds good, looks good. now i have a cruise controll problem...lol. still love the truck!
check all bat. conn. especially the grounds. give it a good t-up plugs cap rotor wires air& fuel filters the next time stalls out hold gas pedal to floor don't pump it.
make sure the cover is properly installed on the fuse block. it has to be water gettin into something thats making it short out, look around at all your wiring and make sure its properly insulated (no bare wire)
