First do not panic! It is possible to recover your pictures if you take care. Do not try and write anything to the hard drive you are trying to recover files from or you risk causing more problems.
If you are comfortable with using a PC then you can download a FREE utility that will recover your photos from the following link:

If you need something a little more "user friendly" then you will need to buy the software. If you search the web for photo recovery software you will find many.
One I have used successfully is RescuePro that used to be bundled with some Sandisk products. Now you can get it from the link below:

You can try the demo to see what you can recover before buying.

There is a software program called Card Recovery Pro that you can google to find the download. This will get the photo's off the memory card directly. If your PC or laptop does not have a built in card reader then you'll need to get one in order to use the software.
Take the memory card from your camera - put in a card reader (most of now days laptop have it bundled, or use external card reader) - plug the card reader to your PC - copy the pictures via Windows Explorer- open facebook - upload pictures from PC's hard disk - finally, enjoy your uploaded pictures in facebook !!
Hope this help and be kind to rate please, thank you. (^_^)

Hi there. Here is how you do it.
Go into the menu and navigate to the Copy screen.
Choose an option. One is to copy pictures from the camera's internal memory to the SD card, and the other is copy from the SD card to the camera's internal memory. Then press OK. On the next screen, you have two option choices, either copy all images, or selected images.
Hope that helps.
if u have card reader then insert yourmeory card in that and connect your card reader with computer.tehn u simply copy paste.
and if u have mobile memory card then connect your mobile to computer.
Hey hapurves, Uploading your images should not remove the images from your memory card. If your images are no longer on your memory card the card has most likely been formatted. You could try connecting the memory card to your laptop with a card reader and under My Computer right click on the icon for your memory card and select open. Now you could try copying the images you want back on the memory card and pasting them into a folder on the memory card. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
I just had an online chat with SONY and they told me that I had to BUY a new CD. Needless to say i will NOT be doing that!!!!! I will find a copy and upload the files for teh world!!!!!
