Hello Have a Sharp Wizard 0z-730 I know old had several throughout the years love them. Went to change the battery and it lost all my information any way to get the information back? thank you

No unless it has a motherboard battery, once you disconnect the power you empty RAM. There appears to be backup software, but you have to backup before you change batteries. Buy an iPhone or iPad mini and it can be automatic.

Sharp zaurus zr-5000 stopped working. Any way to get my backup flashcard (FL02M-20-11138-XX 15095) to read to anything?

I have lost all comm ports for exchanging info to and from my Zaurus 5000. It says my ports are being used by my mouse which is not true.
Anyone have any ideas on how to retrieve ports?

Sharp OZ-730 sticky keys

I have a a Sharp yo-480. I've fixed sticky keys many times. I back-up data in the organizer first. (yo-480 doesn't have a flash memory) then carefully dissasemble unit. Lift out rubber keypad and use WD-40 to wipe circut board and keypad. It's the sticky residue that makes the keys stick

Internal memory loss

If both of your battery sets have gone flat then you have lost all of your information
For your friend to have all of her info in place when she changed the batteries, the backup battery must have been OK which would have saved the info stored.
I would suggest when you use your psion to then back everything to a pc using psiwin 1.1
It's free to download from the internet.

The Main Memory Backup battery in my Sharp Wizard OZ-7620 is depleted. I have replaced the 2 replaceable batteries but I don't know how to restore the system.

first and foremost, I have to how you removed the battery and how you replaced it? cos there are methods of doing this.
well in case of another time, you have to disconnect all cables on the board including the Cd, battery and others, then you can go ahead and do what you said you've done.

How to do with Sharp ZR-3500

On the back of the unit, there is a battery selector switch. Move the selector to the 'replace batteries' position. Now you can open the main battery compartment. Adjacent to the main compartment is a smaller hatch secured by a small hex-head screw. Loosen and remove the screw to remove the hatch cover. Then you can remove and replace the old 2032 battery with a new one. Reverse the procedure to secure the hatch, ensure you have fresh batteries in the main battery compartment, replace the main hatch, select 'normal operation' and you should be good to go.
