I have a toshiba labtop modle PSL33U-03W02K everytime my computer turns on it goes to the black screen then select a language finally the system reload ,toshiba wizard ect.. screen .how do i get past this PLZ help

You need to provide a little more information to get an accurate answer. If you are able to see the log in screen, the display is probably fine. If you are using Windows 8.1, this has been a problem for some of the HP systems after certain updates. You'll need to do a recovery to get things back to normal.

1. Turn off the computer and wait at least 5 seconds with the computer in a full off state.
2. Turn on the computer and repeatedly press the F11 key, about once every second, until you see the Windows loading screen.
3. If a language selection screen opens, select the language you want to use to continue.
4. On the Choose your keyboard layout screen, select the keyboard layout that matches your keyboard type. On the Choose an option screen, click Troubleshoot .

Did You Check to See If Memory is in correctly ?you might have dislodged them by accident please check this !! Can you get back into bios there must be a reason for the black screen like Memory is the computer beeping ? What you can do is use a friends laptop or computer and create a recovery disc on there computer then put that disc into your laptop or you can borrow there windows disc.

6. Click Next again.
7. Click Next to Start recovery.
8. Restart the Toshiba laptop when there restoration process finishes running. Follow the prompts that appear on the screen to set up the laptop's date, time and language settings.

Sounds like the recovery failed.You may have to reinstall your operating system if recovery fails

To fix a black screen on the TOSHIBA Satellite, perform some basic troubleshooting steps in Windows Vista, then upgrade the BIOS if the steps fail to fix the problem.

1.Press any key on the keyboard to wake the computer. If the computer does not respond, hold down "Fn" and "F1" to check if the instant password feature is enabled. If a prompt appears, input the administrator's password and press "Enter."
2.Hold down "Fn" and tap the "F7" key to increase screen brightness if no prompt appears.
3.Hold down "Fn" and press "F5" to swap displays if the computer is hooked up to an external monitor. The TOSHIBA has several options to cycle through, so it might take several tries to find the correct setting.

9.Log in to the computer as an administrator, open a browser and go to TOSHIBA Support. Select the A215-S7422 from the "Product Support" link.
10.Click "Downloads." Select your operating system, then click "BIOS." Click the BIOS link, then click "Download Now." Save the file to the desktop.
11Double-click the EXE file and follow the on-screen instructions to auto-update the BIOS. The computer will automatically restart when the update is complete.

Reinstall Windows from a Disk

1 Turn on your Toshiba Satellite. Insert your recovery disk or the original Windows operating system DVD

into the Satellite's CD/DVD drive. Turn off the computer.

2 Turn on the Toshiba Satellite. In the first few seconds while it is starting up, press and hold the F12 key on your keyboard to access the Boot Menu. (Note: Some Toshiba models may tell you to press "C" to boot

from the CD-ROM). The screen will display boot for this boot up session only.

3 Use the arrow keys to navigate. Select the CD-ROM/DVD drive to highlight it. Press "Enter." Be aware that this setting is for this session only; it is not a permanent change.

4 Allow the computer to start up. Follow the onscreen instructions for reinstalling the operating system from the disk.

Reinstall from a Recovery Partition

1 Boot up the Toshiba Satellite. In the first few seconds while it is starting up, press and hold the F8 key. This will begin the "Advanced Boot Options" menu.

2 Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate the menu. Move the keys to select "Repair Your Computer." Press "Enter."

3 Select your language and keyboard; click "Next."

4 Select your Windows user name from the drop-down menu. Enter your password if required. Click "OK." This will begin the "System Recovery Options" menu.

5 Select the Toshiba Recovery Wizard and follow the onscreen instructions. The Toshiba Recovery Wizard will delete all existing data on the hard drive and reinstall Windows.

The drive you have is a IDE, Ultra DMA 133, 4200 RPM.

If you are running XP or Vista you can purchase any brand hard drive. Size depends on what you want to spend. Recommend Maxtor. Just make sure it is IDE and for a laptop. Most computer retailers will sell them (BestBuy, Circuit City, etc)

people have been having a lot of trouble with rhapsody i think you could have a bug in your system.
