This camera maybe faulty. I suggest you return it to the shop for a warranty repair or replacement. If you try to repair it yourself you may void your warranty.

Why my canon ntsc zr65mc lcd did not work because there's no image displayed, but there are sounds when i play back my recorded video. why is this, is this fixable?

Notify Canon, they will pay for shipping and repair free of charge. There is a problem with the wiring affected by heat and humidity, Look on Canon website under ZR65MC, or your model number, and look for "Advisory".

Canon ES55 camcorder

The camcorder has a port called "Audio Video Out". You need an adapter cable (Canon's cable is the C-250) to connect from this port to a television or VCR. Use the white RCA plug on the cable with the "Audio In" jack and the yellow RCA plug with the "Video In" jack on the television or VCR.
Canon's cable is available from their online store at

This symbol means that the backup battery needs to be replaced. The backup battery is located under a panel on the left side of the camcorder, and the main battery pack has to be removed to see this panel. The battery is a CR2025 (Duracell DL2025).

I contacted Canon via e-mail and they are going to fix the problem for free and pay the shipping. You should go to www.canondv.com and send them an e-mail or call them.
