SOURCE: i need to how to connect the throttle to the carb

Don't have a diagram. It's pretty simple, tho.

There is a throttle cable run from the throtle control lever on the dash down to the carburetor. There is a lever on the carburetor -- usually this has a hole in it where the end of the throttle cable hooks.

There should be a clamp in that vicinity to hold down the throttle cable housing to allow the cable inside to move back and forth without moving the cable housing,

I have a Briggs & Stratton powered mower 40777 I recently replaced the carburetor, fuel pump & fuel pump vacuum line, mower will not start, it will when gas is pored into carb. I need advise please

Check the fuel lines. My brother had one that wouldn't start because when the fuel line was forced on to the fitting, some rubber shaved off the inside of the tubing and blocked the fitting. Also inspect the fuel filter and fuel cutoff or check valves if these are present.

I haven't looked up your particular model, but some riding mowers have fuel cutoff interlock devices. Check those for proper operation.

if its a briggs and stratton engine with the plastic carb fixed to top of the fuel tank then you will need to replace the diaphragm and blow out the fuel pick up pipe

Black small hose is loose on briggs&stratton 550ex mower engine

fuel should never be coming out of the air filter. do you mean the pipe that goes from the engine to the air filter housing? if so thats the crankcase breather pipe and you shouldnt be getting fuel there either. if you have fuel coming out of the air filter housing then you carb is probably flooding and will need stripping and the needle vale and foat looking at

24 hp brig motor does not seem to be getting fuel

the additive in gas eth. causes fuel lines to break down and not deliver gas to the carb. replace fuel line.

check fuel pump, remove fuel line to carb. turn motor over, if fuel does not spurt out fuel line replace fuel pump.

float in carb may be stuck, remove bowl from carb. and check needle valve, if gummed up clean.

My generator is a briggs and stratton 7kw prowered. connected to full propane tanks. i have not had any problems with the generator until this past weekend. the generator starts up fine, and then once...

You have a fuel delivery issue that can be dealt with by cleaning carb or replacing it. If you do replace carb has to be adjusted to the motor.(idle, mixture)

Briggs and stratton 4.5 hp ( 10G902 ) starts great but after a couple seconds starts to stumble. i have replaced the plug, gas and cleaned the air filter. I tried a couple things like spraying carb cleaner...

Try draining the carb and gas tank into a small plastic bowl and look for water in the fuel. I you have a diaphragm type carb it might just need a new diaphragm and spring.

Did the stumble start right after refueling? If so then your gas can may be carrying some water too. It happens. I have seen gas can with INCHES of water in the bottom! True story. I went to a customers house after she had both her walk behind and rider stop running. She said both were fine until she refueled and then...no start. I looked at her gas can and it was terrible!

If you are trying to clear the main jet you need to get inside the carb and clean from the fuel inlet side. Bowl carbs usually have removeable jets that you can look through.

Good luck and be careful!
