Sky+HD box isn't a getting satellite signal - Sony Grand WEGA KF60DX100 60" Rear Projection Television

check power and tv in correct mode -then check alignment of dish --if good and no large storms in area notify sky of problem it may be box or programming

Bad dish alignment. Rain or snow blocking the dish. Leaves on a tree blocking sight of the satellite. Scaffolding/building works blocking sight of the satellite. Fault on the cables. Damaged or faulty LNB

1.Press the standby button on your Sky remote and switch off your Sky box at the mains. Check that the power light on the front of your Sky box is off before proceeding.2.Check your cable connections 3.Switch your Sky box back on at the mains. Wait 4 minutes before pressing the sky button .You may see a message before viewing resumes, on Channel 998.Tthat's it

have you checked the cables to the lmb ( dish ).... or take the dish cables out of the back of the sky box. wet your finger and put finger on to the centre and out part of the cable connector that some times works. faling that the sky box may need a factory rest or is damaged or the lmb has gone.

Check the dish for its orientation.

Sure the sat is getting power?

Tata HD has clearer picture as it has high definition technology while Tata sky just has standard definition .

You must connect up the TV to the SKY box, via Audio Visual cables too, in order to watch, recorded programs. You need to hook, up, Component, HDMI, or Composite, You select it by an EXTERNAL channel.
Connect the cable running from the wall into the "In" port on the Sky Box HD receiver. This cable brings in the signal to your receiver. Make sure the cable is securely fastened to the receiver, otherwise you might experience image and audio issues.
Attach an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the Sky Box HDTV receiver. The HDMI is a single cable that provides both HD audio and video signals.
Plug the other end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on the HDTV.
Power on the HDTV and the Sky Box HDTV receiver. Press the "HDMI" button on the TV's remote control. This will display the cable contents of the HD receiver onto the television.
