Go to: http://www.asus.com/

(I am using the North-America English version of the website)
Now select your country/language. Afterward press, "Download" at the top of the page. After the new page loads you will once again press download (Either the button at the top or middle of the page will work). Now enter your motherboard model name into the download search field located at the top-left afterward selecting, "BIOS" as the, "Category." Now select your motherboard model once the search completes.

A pop-up appears, select the Operating System that is currently on your system (Example: Windows XP.)

Have fun choosing a BIOS.

On a pc that I use only as the connection for a printer, i am getting a dark blue screen that says:ASUS P4VP-MX Del to run setup. However, it will not respond at all. Turned off computer and got same...

If you still have your manual open to page 1-15 section 1.11
Set the bios jumper to pins 2&3 for a few seconds. Than move the jumper back to pins 1&2 (Normal). Boot your system & enter the bios menu. Reset all your settings, save & exit. If you still receive a blue screen chances are there is an issue with your hard disk drive or another device within the system. You can also try pressing the F5 key during boot up & choose Safe mode with command prompt. C:\space fixmbr press enter
If you are unable to do anything you'll have no choice but to reinstall windows. Blue screens usually show an error message of sorts.

Good luck!

Bios update for P4VP-MX

Try here.

http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/BIOS/Asus/Asus-P4VP-MX-Bios-112.shtml

Read the notes on flashing BIOS's before trying to flash your bios (if you stuff up I don't think there is anyway back).

Good luck.
