We recently purchased a house that has an Aker jacuzzi tub in the master bath which was working fine as we used it once or twice a month. As of tonight it doesnt turn in at all, has the soft oval on/off...

These switches that are mounted to the tub itself are usually air switches when you push the soft button it puffs air into a solenoid somewhere near the motor causing it to activate the pump, and there is a possibility that the pump motor has a reset button on the end of it to kick it off if something would cause the pump to jamb, hair, toy, jewelry or whatever that somehow got sucked into the intake

New homeowner. Kohler airjet Master tub after hitting power button only stays on for about 20 seconds. Home inspection working fine I believe

put your ear to the side of the tub and momentarily turn on the jet pump, if you hear a humming sound then you need to replace the pump motor capacitor.

There is no off on button, how do I turn my 2005 Great lakes spa on and off

hot tubs turn on/off one of two ways. there will be either an air button that you depress to turn the pump on/off or there will be an electronic topside that has buttons similar to microwave type button that you will push to turn the pump on/off.

I have an Aqua Glass tub in the master bedroom. Today I filled the tub to clean the tubes out and the pump won't work. It almost sounds like it's lock up? When you plug it in and push the ON/OFF...

We service a ton of Aquaglass products. Need to know what kind of control we are talking about. Is this an electronic button you are pushing or an air button you push down?

My whirlpool tub is not working. Nothing happens when you push the button. Is there a reset button for the jets? What should I look for?

first check the air switch hose that connects to the "button"
Open the access for the pump there should be 1/4" poly tubing (probably clear) that connects to the pump motor. It just slides over a barbed nipple usually located somewhere on the back of the pump housing opposite the pipe connections. Make sure it is in place properly. If it is in place then look else where. The tubing also connects to the back of the air switch "button". This button connection rarely fails, especially if the tub was working and now does not. But if the tub is newly installed and may have disconnected during installation. this connection is probably going to be difficult if not impossible to verify since it is usually concealed after installation.
Some pump motors have resets some do not. If it does it probably is on the very back of pump opposite the pipe connections.
Also check to make sure that any electrical outlets in the bathroom, or any where in a nearby radius of the tub, to see if they have "GFI" reset buttons and make sure that they havn't tripped by pushing in the button between the plug-ins named "reset". Usually the circuit for the pump will be tied into one of these switches to add ground fault protection to the circuit.
If your pump is not working after checking these things it may be dead. Does your pump "hum" after pushing the button? Do you smell any type oder around the pump that would suggest a "burnt motor"?
If the pump is dead you will have to replace it.
Come back here and post more if your problem isn't solved. Or ask how to find and replace a new Whirlpool pump.
Hope you figure it out. T. Wood CFE Plumbing

I have a flo-master 06620390-2 pump that failed in my hot tub. Is there a quieter and more efficient replacement or should I replace with same?

You are generally better off replacing the pump with the same model. Hot tubs are noisy unless you have a really good insulation job. It is unlikely changing the pump will make it any different as far as noise goes. The flip side is that the manufacturer sized the pump to match the hydraulic load present within your specific tub and to provide the necessary flow rate to keep the water clean. It can lead to problems if you put in the wrong replacement unit.
