Test the power outlet plug some lamp desk if work is o.k if NOT reset the c. breaker. follow this stepFirst check is the main fuse of the unit. On countertop units, you will need to take the shell off. The fuse will be close to where the cord comes through into the unit. OTR units, this main fuse is usually behind the control panel or possibly behind the vent. Usually the fuse is obvious if blown, otherwise test with an OHM meter, if open, replace fuse.
Some brands will also have a thermal cut-off fuse in the incoming voltage line to the control board. Older Maytags and Samsungs have this fuse in it. This thermostat looking fuse is usually above the oven cavity somewhere under the outside shell. Sometimes you can get to it through the vent of OTR models. Test with an OHM meter, replace if open.
God bless you

SOURCE: reset my clock

Normally you press Clock, then the numbers, then either Clock again or Start.

If that does not work, you should call the dealer or store where you got the oven to see if they have a contact number for Swan.

There is a high voltage fuse in the unit attatched to the high voltage capacitor, it is the most common problem for microwaves not working. Also check the protective diode, the high voltage capacitor as well as the transformer if the fuse is ok. Good Luck.

The door switches are more than likely the problem, one or two will need to be replaced, I recommend a professional.

The computer died. Not much you can do with it. After ten years it doesn't owe you anything.

Of course you could bypass the whole timer with a toggle switch if you were MacGyver.

Everythink works except the microwave will not start. Is there a fuze that can be replaced to fix this ? Model # NN-2551 I found the user manual on-line, but I can't find the product spec sheet breakdown...

I'm not sure what you mean by "everything works". do you mean that all the lights and the timer work. Could it be in the timer or clock mode? Try pushing the timerand cancel buttons together.
Try changing the time using the clock function.

I believe your model has a child lockout. Please check your manual for instructions on unlocking this function.

Is it hardwired or plugged in? If it is plugged in you can try a power reset, by unplugging it, waiting a few minutes and plugging it back in. It is completely unsafe to try to work on a hardwired Microwave.

Please let us know if this solution is helpful to you. Thank you.

R-209BK Sharp Microwave buttons inoperable

I had this problem too:
it turns out that it (apparently) just needed some 'warm-up' time!

After being plugged in for about 15 to 30 minutes,
the buttons suddenly "came to life"...

Note that when it's flashing 88:88 you are supposed to _start_ with the 'Stop/Clear' button. After that, set the clock (press "Clock", enter the time with the number pad, then press Clock again).

Hope that helps.
