Could be the motherboard, the operating system, the video card, or hard drive. you should take it in to a repair center make sure you have them make a backup of your hard drive first as you don't want to lose anything important if they have to reinstall the operating system.
make sure you first check to make sure the monitor is working,

Thanks for ur reply mhensley509, I actually had some of those possibilities in mind, but I was wondering if this was a common problem in Aspire Ones.
Anyway thanks again for the tips. I'll take it in for repair definitely, but if u or anyone else knows of an easier way to fix this thing, I'm all open 4 suggestions.
