By stuck do you mean that each time you boot the computer it goes to this screen? If this is the case then unfortunately this means something has happened to the installation of your operating system on your hard drive and in order to get Windows to load, you will need to perform this recovery. This could be caused by any sort of damage to the partition that the OS installation is on which could be caused by hard drive failure, corrupted data or physical disk damage.

Open the Computer folder ( My computer ) , right - click on the drive , select properties and quota . Look if the quota management isn't activated .

Install a partition manager program like
http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm
open it and you will see the entire hard disk. In there either create another partition in the unallocated space or add it to the D partition.

Make sure there is no debris inside of the drive. With the opening of the drive towards the floor, shake the system to make sure that if there is any debris in there that it will come out. Also make sure that there is no broken cd's in the drive cause that will cause the door to open and close.

If that doesn't work, the door might need to be re-aligned. Clean the door with glass cleaner, the amonia in there would get any dirt or stickiness off of the door.

GO TO DEVICE MANAGER AND SEE IF THE DRIVE IS WORKING.IT MOST LIKELY IS SO TURN POWER OF PC OPEN THE SHELL ON PROSESSER AND TAKE DISC OUT,KNOW BEFORE YOU PUT SHELL BACK ON TURN POWER BACK ON DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING EXCEPT THE DRIVE SEE IF IT OPENS OR CLOSES.IF IT DOES NOT,SHUT POWER OFF AND UNPLUG DRIVE THEN PLUG IT BACK IN.PUT SHELL BACK ON AND SEE IF DRIVE OPENS.IF NOT THE DRIVES FAULTY...HOPE THIS HELPS

Your disk drive shutdown, you will have to open up the xbox, unplug the disk drive then plug it back in.

It needs replacing,not really much you can do to fix them.

My 4 year old put two disk in at the same time, (play station 3) I'm unable to remove the disk. There are no screws to open the unit. How do I solve this problem?
