Insert CD that came with printer and install the program. Or go to HPsuppofrt website for drivers and enter the model no. of the printer to get program and driver. Then reboot with printer hard wired to computer. Follow printer setup procedure to get to the selection of wired or wireless installation. Try Add Printer thru Control Panel, you may have to select Add Network printer.

I dont know if you have or not but you could go to the hp websight and let them detect you printer and see if that will work.Hope this helps. Ken

Have you installed the new drivers for your HP?

Personally, on all HP Printers, I use only HP products, mainly Jetdirect Print Servers, but you might try creating a TCP Port Printer (via your Printer Install Wizard) and use that. You only need to know the IPAddress of the DLink and the Drivers for the HP Printer.
