I replaced the board, which would acquire and lose power every time you pressed on a corner of it. But during the 3rd use at 10mph, the belt suddenly went severely faster (the owner fell of and was knocked out), and there was a slight burning smell. Did I get a bad part?

SOURCE: Proform 550xp Treadmill in continuous incline/decline mode!!!

i just called the manufacturer on this and found out i have a faulty control panel, but these are the steps they told me to go through to reset. If it works, then you are good, if not, you may also have a control panel issue.
1. plug in and turn on treadmill, keep red key out
2. press and hold the stop button and speed up button at the same time and hold them while you insert the red key
3. after red key is inserted, let go of both buttons
**CAUTION - be sure to stand on side bars of treadmill, clear of the belt for this next part bc it will go VERY FAST***
4. press stop button once
5. press speed up button until it reads 85 (see what i mean?!)
6. press stop button once
7. press incline down or up one time and it should get back into normal mode. mine just started a series of flashing lights and "8"s in all the "windows" so my panel needs to be replaced. here is the number i called - 1-877-993-7999. Good Luck!

Because you are hearing the lift motor making a noise, it sounds like the gears in the motor are bad. The fix is to replace the lift motor.

SOURCE: Athlon iQ2 treadmill-just replaced motor control

If this is the same problem you had prior to replacing the MCB and speed sensor. I would check the drive motor, unplug unit then remove motor shroud then unplug the connectors leading to the motor itself. If you have wire leads and a 18v drill battery connect the leads into motor then attach the other end to you battery and if the motor will rotate ( approx. 1mph) , if it does the check speed sensor to see if the correct spacing between sensor and front roller ( check if the magnet has not fallen out of front roller pulley this also can cause you problems) hope this help!!

Probable Cause A) Incline control error.
B) Insufficient power source.
C) User exceeds weight limit.
D) Unit will not lift.
E) Unit thinks it is always at 0% incline and only lifts up.
F) 3 amp circuit breaker has tripped.
G) CPU board has stuck relay.
H) Lift motor is faulty.
Corrective Action A) Access the incline manual mode in diagnostics by pressing 9, 1, 9, ENTER and then pressing HILL program key. Incline the unit with two people on the unit. B) Ensure treadmill is connected to a dedicated 120V, 20 Amp circuit.
C) Advise user of unit's weight limit of 300lbs (137kg).

Error 100 won't connect to network anymore to use ifit live

Check the power cord to ensure it is connected to the power supply and the treadmill if the power does not stay on or does not turn on. Look at the circuit breaker, located near the base of the unit, to see if the circuit was tripped. Push the switch back in to reset the circuit.

  • 2 Take the key out of the console, wait a minute and place it back in the console to resolve issues with the power turning on and off during use or if the console displays are not functioning properly.
  • 3 Remove the console key and press the "Stop" button to turn off the "Demo" mode, which is often the default setting when the treadmill is first purchased.
  • 4 Reset the incline by holding down the "Stop" and "Speed increase" buttons and putting in the console key. Release the buttons and then press the "Stop" button, followed by the down or up arrows for the incline. This step can be taken if errors are occurring with the incline function.
  • 5 Turn the treadmill "Off" and unplug the unit if errors continue. Wait five minutes and then plug the unit back on, insert the console key, and turn the treadmill "On." This will reset the treadmill and should return to normal funcTION

Treadmill stops when i incline it

Start your unit without any body on it, then increase incline and see if the unit shuts down if it does not then the first thing I would do is lubricate the deck if no maintenance has ever been done on the unit refer to your owners for the procedure. After lubricating the deck proceed with normal operation of the unit. If this do not take care of the problem you may have a worn belt and deck thus causing too much power to be draw thus shutting it down.

How do I fix my Endurance Treadmill TF3i Err7 problem? I stopped during operation.

Unplug unit remove motor shroud check connections on lower board (incline board). I believe their is a 3 amp fuse in circuit check with multi meter to see if open replace fuse power up unit and if it blows the fuse then replace incline motor and if not, then use engine mode press stop then Incline + or - to force incline up to max incline then bring it down to 0 then turn off power then wait 10 seconds then hit power on then if error does not appear then hit start and resume using unit. If the procedure above does not activate unit then replace board.

My smoothfitness 5.25 treadmill is stuck in the

Unplug your unit take the motor shroud off and you will see a circuit board (Motor Control Board) their should be L E D s on the board. Now plug your unit in and you will see these light up if you have a second pair of hands that can help you have them press you incline controls.

You should see one of these L E D s light up followed with a click of a relay this activate the incline motor some of these boards will have a 3 amp fuse to protect the board from damage , if you see a open fuse replace it with the same exact fuse. If it blows again either you have a shorted armature winding or the worm screw is frozen. I would call Smooth Fitness, depending wiether this was made by either Sports Art Fitness or Keys Finess they will direct you to theproper parties.

    The treadmill will not incline

Try calibrating the unit first, if this does not work than check below:

    1. If the incline moves but you will not operate normally nor calibrate, check the wiring from the incline sensor to the power board. If all looks normal, put it back in calibration and see if you see a blinking “- -” symbol in the incline window when you are calibrating. If not, the incline sensor is bad and needs to be replaced.

    2. If the incline moves but only just a bit, it could be a problem as simple as the gearbox on the motor being jammed. Remove the motor from the treadmill, reconnect the wiring, and then try to run the incline motor outside the treadmill. Many times, this will unjam it if that is the problem and then reinstalling it in the treadmill will get it to work. If you have the same problem or it doesn’t run outside the machine and you can hear it try to work, you need to replace the incline motor.

    3. If the incline motor does not move, we need to figure out if the motor is getting voltage. Use a simple multi-meter and set it to AC volts. When you put it into calibration, it tries to calibrate the directions one at a time. Measure across the white and black wires first, then measure across the white and red wires second. If the motor is getting voltage you will read 120VAC (or thereabouts) one of the measurements. If you have voltage but the motor won't move, you need to replace the motor.

    4. If the incline motor does not move and you have done the voltage test and you do not have any voltage present, there is a problem in the electronics board that supplies the power. If the console is powering the drive motor as normal, you can bet it is getting an incline signal and the power board needs to be replaced (some models have an integrated power board/controller) so if there is only a single board the whole board has to be replaced.
