Pro Form 745cs Treadmill does not incline

The number increase but the machine does not incline.

Thank you for your response but it wasn't the problem. We can make it incline by using a jumper on the circut board. It just doesn't do it by its self.

I have the same problem. The number goes up and it raises a little but not to where it needs to. I think the motor for the incline is bad, but I am not sure.

My jack screw needed to be adjusted. It is a long screw about 1" in diameter. If you take the cover off, you should clearly see the jack screw. If you adjust the incline with the cover off, you should see the jack screw rotate. One end of the jack screw may have come out allowing the screw to rotate freely and not raise the incline. If you can reengage the screw, it may work. I don't know if this will help, but I needed to do it.

My treadmill will no longer increase or decrease the incline. What can I do?

By increasing the incline level on the treadmill, you will increase the number of calories burned during your workouts. Incline training works the leg muscles differently and more efficiently than training on a level surface. Incline training provides a great cardiovascular workout without having to increase speed.

After recalibration, incline still doesn't work

Some elevation motor has 3 things:
1) Capacitor test it.
2) Limit switch for up and down,
3) Relais for up and down.
You must test it before to replace the complete elevation motor.
4) See if there are 110Vac to the terminal of the motor, if there are the motor is Faulty, If not test the 3 steps mentioned before.

Pro-Form Crosswalk 395 - Incline goes up and down with no tread movement. Calibration doesn't work - only on display.

test the main board, with the output voltage from board for input voltage motor. If there are NOT voltage the board is faulty.replace see the block diagram, how the main boad control about 80% of the machine motion.

I hae a Pro Form 540 Iteracive Trainer treadmill. When the key is inserted, the treadmill cuts on but the control panel doesn't seem to work when you touch start. I waited and cut it off and went...

Hi,

I will advice you try re-calibrate your treadmill, follow the procedure below to re-calibrate it,

Step 1 Stand on the side rails of the treadmill for safety purposes. Remove the safety key. Step 2 Press and hold the two incline buttons. The incline buttons are blue and on the left side of the display. Hold the up and down button simultaneously. Release the buttons when the display reads "Calibration."
Step 3 Press the green start button located either above or below the large, red stop button (depending on your model). Stay on the side rails as the treadmill belt begins to move. Both the speed and incline should go through their full range from lowest to highest, and then back down again.
Step 4 Repeat the process if the display does not read "Calibration Successful."

I cannot get it to incline. It will say it goes from .5 to 10 and not incline at all

First perform an incline calibration. The procedure is outlined in your users manual.
It is a simple procedure. Insert the safety key and start the machine in motion. Press the incline up button. While the numbers are increasing remove the safety key.
Now reinstall the safety key, the machine should incline to maximum then lower back down to minimum.
Now you can operate the treadmill, the incline should work.

Treadmill not working properly. Incline keeps slipping.

there is a plastic spacer at the rack area on the incline mtr- this white plastic spacer has broken, only recourse u have is to unplug the white wire on incline mtr, and never have a incline, or replace incline mtr when you find out how much the mtr is you might want to walk with out incline- if you was in my area, I have them cheaper

Will my ifit treadmill card work in an incline

Technically, the Incline Trainer and the treadmill are two different type of machines. The incline trainer raises much higher so the card that is designed for the treadmill will not work on the incline trainer unfortunately.

Ifit treadmill will not incline but everything else works, how do I fix the incline

You may need to calibrate the incline. Do this with the following procedure.
Safety key out
press the stop and speed up buttons at the same time while inserting the safety key. (you are now in diagnostics)
press the stop button one time only.
now press the incline up button (incline motor should start moving up)
incline will go up to the top and then all the way to the bottom. when it gets done you can remove the key. Reinsert the key and you should be operating normally.
Good luck Tim
