You may need the latest driver... See here.... http://www.eid.toshiba.com.au/Downloads/manuals/230-280_350-450_3511-4511/eS230_350_3511_NetworkAdminGuide_Ver.00.pdf
The computer should run under default VGA drivers (basic colours, 640 x 480 resolution) you should find and remove any Nvidia software then go to www.nvidia.com and download new drivers, install them restart the computer and then set things like screen resolution, colour depth extended monitor etc. Good luck.
1. The resolution of the webcam built in to your laptop is not as high asyou would prefer (i.e., you would like higher resolution in general). Unfortunately, if this is the case, the maximum resolution of the camera is pretty much limited by the hardware itself and can only be remedied by purchasing a higher resoution external webcam.
2. You are using the webcam for video chat (or something similar) and people on the other end are noticing a choppy-ness or conspicuous lag-time in the video being sent to them. If this is the case, then you may be able to remedy the problem by actually LOWERING the resolution settings on the software you are using to stream your video feed to another computer (not the Toshiba or webcame software, but the chat software). If this is the case, you may repost your question with the specific type of software you are using if you need help adjusting the resolution on it.
you need to contact TECH SUPPORT to get the CD driver , I own myself a TOSHIBA SATELLITE and needed to install the driver but the only way to do it is thru the CD that came with the unit.
right click on the desktop>properties and you should be able to adjust them. Set the resolution at 800x600 first before you adjust the colour depth. Then you can adjust the resolution etc properly.
it sounds as if your screen resolution is set too high, or you have a low colour. right click on ur desktop and click properties then click settings, make sure your colour quality is "highest 32 bit" try sliding the resolution slider across to try the diffrent settinfs to see if it gets better.
Did you install the monitor driver? It sounds like you did not. 75Hz refresh is high, try reducing it to 60Hz at least long enough to get your settings fixed.
be sure you downloaded the graphic driver for your computer. you can find it from the manufacturer website or if you know the model of your mainboard you can also find it from the mainboard manufacturer website. also, try changing your display settings by right click your desktop and choose properties then choose display adjust the screen resolution on higher pixel. but my best guess is you need the graphic driver of your computer.
I have a similar problem with this monitor, i always after connecting having to go to the "screen Position and Size" setting in my ATI FireGL. and shift the screen 1 pixel, and the color and resolution turn ok, it is manual step, but better than no fix
