Pioneer CDJ-1000 CD Player jog wheel display

At a guess I would say it needs a new jog wheel pressure sheet. There is one for sale on ebay here.

One or more of the bearing wheels have become damaged underneath the jog wheel. You need to strip the unit down and remove the wheel to get access to find the broken / stuck wheels. Replace, or re-seat, and you should be back up and running. The jog wheel is a lot simpler than it looks, once you have it out. Just be careful of the sheet switch, which detects pressure on the wheel. They're very fragile and vulnerable!

Hi, if you mean the fault occurs in the cdj vinyl mode and your cd dosent play... then it sounds like your jog wheel sensor membrane. but would have to be checked firstly by an engineer.

you need to clean compartment of your cdj. Pls make sure if you can do it yourself then do it yourself or take it to an expert.

I had the exact same problem. I was working a party when some drunk ******* spilled some beer in my coffin case, thus getting into the jog wheel and cue button. I continued to work with it for a few months but got pretty fed up and brought it to a pio dealer. They fixed it up quick and cheap, now it glides like my other mk3s. I'd say bring it in a get a quick quote.

More than likely the contact pad (aka Membrane pad) is probably damaged... or the flat cable which connects to the main processor, might be loose, or damaged.

You'll need to get this professionally checked out by a qualified technician. It's not an easy fix.

pull the jog wheel off and give it a clean and some grease on the shaft, also don't push it back down the whole way

Take it to your nearest pioneer repair centre as this liquid will have to be removed before it causes further damaged, you can send it to us if you havent had it repaired.

sounds like a jog dial pcb fault or power supply fault to the jog dial, if you havent had it repaired you can send it to us.
