Hi Mike & Lisa,
From what I have been able to find, the N32 is a scanner released by Uniden for the Australian market. However, as I am sure you already found, there is no reference to it on either Uniden's US or Australian sites. However, it appears that the N32 has an identical keyboard layout to a scanner released in the U.S., the BC60XLT-1. Hopefully the manual for that scanner may help you with the N32. The link to the BC60XLT-1 manual is:
http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC60XLT-1om.pdf

While this may not be a perfect match, I hope it helps get you up and running.

Also, one thing to keep in mind...different frequency ranges are used in different areas of the world. If you are using this radio in the U.S., the frequencies you want to program may not be within the limits of your scanner. Since I don't have the manual for your specific scanner, I have no idea what those frequency ranges are. You may just have to "trial and error" it.

Good luck! I hope this helps get you up and running!

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Is there a video on how to manually program the bearcat scanner BC355C 100 channel to put in my area frequency into the scanner?

Sorry, but there is no such video that I know of. Besides that, your BC355C is not a programmable scanner in the standard sense, in that you cannot enter frequencies via the keyboard. You can, however, transfer a displayed frequency from the SCAN or SEARCH mode into the PRIVATE bank. Fairly simple instructions are in the factory manual that you can download and print, at no cost, here:

How do i program my own codes into a bearcat 350a scanner

For some reason Uniden made programming this model more difficult than it needs to be - there is no direct entry program feature. Rather than try to rehash the programming procedures, a link to the scanner's operating manual is provided below. Pages 14 through 16 of the manual provide step-by-step programming instructions.

To program the majority of non-trunking Bearcat scanners,\:

- Power the scanner ON
- Press MANUAL to stop scanning
- Enter the channel # to program followed by MANUAL (OR just press MANUAL repeatedly to advance to the desired channel).
- Enter the desired frequency, including the decimal point.
- Press E (ENTER)

If these steps don't work with your scanner, please provide your model number and I'll get back to you with specifics.

I don't have the manual for my Uniden Bearcat BC 855 scanner.

You can download/print the complete manual for your scanner by following the link below. It's a free download, and it provides detailed programming instructions. If you're programming a channel that is "empty" (showing 000.0000) just enter your frequency. Empty channels automatically show LOCKOUT but it clears with programming. The squelch setting will vary according to the strength of the signals you receive. Once you start scanning, turn the squelch down until scanning stops and you hear a hissing sound, then turn the control up slowly until scanning resumes.

2. Enter the new frequency, including decimal point.

3. Press the ENTER or E key.

4. Start over with step one to continue programming channels.

Programing for uniden bearcat scanner bc 144xl

danval, I looked up a pic of your scanner and it is pretty straightforward. If it is the 16 channel I was looking at, here is the step by step programming.
1- Push manual button to go to the channel you want to start programming.
2- Enter the freq number in.
3- Push the E button to enter it in the memory.
4- To review what you programmed, push the Review button.
5- Use manual button to step to next channel and start over from #2
That should get you started with the scanning hobby.
The scanner has a Priority button that when activated will stop scanning and go immediatly to the priority channel if someone keys their mic.
If you need freq's (or more of) for your area, go here and click on your state and county and it'll give you a complete listing.

Hope this helps you out, let us know,, Mechanic
