What causes our ADT panel to beep every 30 seconds?

All smoke detectors have a 9v battery in them. Try swapping the battery to see if it clears the beeping.

This is not a beeping smoke detector. It is probably a CO detector that was installed by your alarm company. GE model 240-COE will give a double beep every 5.5 minutes when the device reaches end of life. Call your alarm company to have it replaced.

Detecotrs have a limited lifespan of 5-7 years. So sounds like you need new one (Its not worth to buy just a sensor). Take a look on amazon Amazon com smoke alarm detector (watch out on reviews). I hope this was helpful. cheers

The CO sensor will not alarm to levels of CO below 30 ppm and will alarm in the following time range when exposed to the corresponding levels of CO: 70 ppm CO Concentration 60 - 240 minutes 150 ppm CO Concentration 10 - 50 minutes 400 ppm CO Concentration 4 - 15 minutes The alarm shall include a piezoelectric horn that is rated at 85 decibels at 10 feet. Change the 9V backup battery,with a new one.Push and hold the reset button for a minute or two for the alarm to to go off like about 30-40 sec. for the smoke detector to dectected the 9V backup battery power sourced.The green power LED light indicator will stop flashing also the beeping sounds too.

They only chirp for two reasons:
1. The sensor is past its useful life and needs replaced
2. There is a power issue with the battery. Even the ones that are hardwired into the electrical system need a battery.

adt sw3000 panel does not support max button on key pad. best solution would be to have ADT tech reprogram Zones so windows are perimeter zones(instant when armed away or stay) and motions interior follower (instant when no perimeter zone was triggered first). doors stay exit/entry.

Change brand new battery,every three months.Take some rubbing achahol clean the test button metal contact inside the detector.Well works correctly after these steps.
