INVALID FORMAT! I have new LG 42" Plasma 42PC5D, when I turn on Tv & PC, after 1', signal "INVALID FORMAT" appreared on screen. Do you know what is problem? Thanks, Mike

Try to reset the TV to factory defaults and see if that helps. Record your color settings and any other setting your have in your config before dong this because all will be lost.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.

You can look at the sample of the power supply board, the picture with the soldering side has labeling of what you should have on the output of the power supply, yours may be labeled on the top side of the board, there are high voltage on the board so you must be real careful, if you are not sure, let the professional handle it if you do not have the basic electronics knowledge

Since you do have sound, that means you do have the 5v and the 12v but may or may not have the 24vdc for the backlight inverter.
