I have an older La Spa. We recenty replaced the control board with a Balboa VS 510SZ (software version #38). I have two 240v pumps (pump 2 is 2 speed; pump 1 is 1 speed) and a 240v blower. The problem: we have to reset the tub every 15-25 minutes for various error codes (LF, OHH, etc...). It will heat up over several hours of us reseting. Both pumps do there job (I haven't hooked up the blower yet because it had five wires going into the connector and the balboa board is set up for 4 wires). I think the problem is that neither of my pumps is set up as a "circulation pump' and then when pump2 switches off after 15 minutes it creates a low flow across the heating element and the board switches off as it is suppossed to when this condition happens. So how do I connect the pumps and or which DIP switches to I change to create the correct set up so we don't have to reset every 15 minutes? It is inconvienient and I know something is not set-up correclty. The current DIP settings are : A1 OFF A2,A3 ON A4,5,6 OFF A7 ON A8,9 OFF A10 ON
I believe you are barking up the wrong tree.
If I understand you correctly, the pumps are backwards!!!
Pump #1 is always a 2 speed pump.
Pump #2 is usually just a 1 speed pump.
When the filtration cycle comes on, "Low" speed is supposed to be the speed that does the heating.
But when your pump is on high speed, the movement of water is creating friction and that will heat the water and provide you all of the error codes you have been experiencing.
A 2 speed pump is normally a "Circulation" pump.
as far as dip switch settings, there is a key on the label on the inside of the load box cover. It will be in a little table.

I suspect the motor shaft has rusted in place. Remove the pump and try to free the motor shaft. If there is rust around the shaft spray in some wd-40 and let it sit a while.
At the far end of the pump is small cap which pries off. Inside there is a slot on the motor shaft you can use to turn the shaft with a large screwdriver.
Once the shaft can turn reinstall.

The spa has shut down -one of the sensors has detected 118 ° at the heater. Check it and replace it if go to bad.

OHS, OH, or SPA TEMP LMT Message
There is an "Over Heated Spa" (OHS or OH) Water Condition.
One
of the Water Temp Sensors has detected 110°F (43.3°C) Incoming Water
Temp and Spa Functions are Disabled. System will Auto Reset when Water
Temp is below 108°F (42.2°C). Check for Extended Pump Operation or High
Ambient Temp, or contact your Dealer or Service Organization.
Spa Water Cool Down
•
In order for the Spa Water Overheat Error Message to Automatically
Reset and Clear, the Spa Water Must Cool to below 108°F (42.2°C).
•
Check the Topside Panel Display to see if the "OHS", "OH", or "SPA TEMP
LMT" Spa Water Overheat Error Message has Cleared. If the Error Message
has Not Cleared, the Spa Water is still too Hot to Continue Testing.
• Either Wait for the Spa Water to Cool Below 108°F (42.2°C), or Exit Now and Retest at a Later time.

This islikely an issue with the GFCI breaker not being able to handle the load or aproblem with the high speed of the pump.
