Plug your mp3 player in, a screen will come up, just exit out of that to save any confusion. if a screen does not come up, then you will skip this step. click on computer. click on your mp3 for whatever it is called. then click on music and click on whatever song you want to delete. there you go.

Am unable delete song...they do not show up on my computer either

I have a dffierent mp3 player Colby with a usb and I had the same problem. Try deleting the songs from the device itself. If you go into folder view if you havet hat option and choose the song it says to play or delet, at least that is what mine says. It may take awhile to do it one song at a time, but you should have the option of deleting the songs from the actual mp3 player.

I also had minenot show up, mine was do to deleting some of the software off of the player to make more room for songs. I never used podcasts and other files that came on it, so after I deleted them my songs stopped showing up. I just copy the songs to my mp3 player now, and delete them one by one. Hope this helps you.

Deleting songs

Deleting Songs Using Windows Media Player
Use Windows Media Player to view the songs that are stored on your mp3 player - best to view them in the "Sync" tab. Find the song that you want to delete, right-click the song, and select Delete (or left-click and press Delete on your keyboard). Voila!

I want to delete songs from my mp3 player when i put the songs on it they are now on there2-3 times

First, diasble the auto-sync feature in Windows Media Player - there is a great explanation on how to do this on Microsoft's own website, so I'm not going to rehash it.

Second, delete every song off your player. You can even run a Repair in Philips Device Manager if it will let you, because that will have the side effect of starting your player from scratch.

Third, reload only songs that are in mp3 format or DRM-free WMA (preferably Mp3).

Fourth, since you asked how to delete songs, here is my answer:

Deleting

Though you may not be able to delete specific songs, it might be a good idea to just format the entire mp3 player then put all the songs you have back in, considering that syncing songs do not take a long time.
