I have the same issue with freezing. Water bottles are freezing solid and soda cans are bursting. The gasket seems fine but the compressor runs constantly, even on the lowest setting. I'm wondering if it could be the thermostat?

I have the same problem also. I have taken to turning the unit off in the morning & then turning it back on at night to keep things from getting warm.

The refrigerator is freezing cans and they explode. We've cleaned the coils and tried everything we can think of. Can a thermostat be installed yourself or do you need to make a service call?

I ordered a new thermostat (about $40 with shipping) & installed it. It's pretty easy to replace. The fridge has been working fine since.

I had this same problem and was able to fix it after consulting the manual. Turn the fridge off and let it come to room temp. Turn it back on but make sure the temp dial is turned to MAX. Leave it on max for a couple of hours then turn it to desired temp. That fixed my problem.

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

The refrigerator either does not keep things cold or with a minor adjustment it freezes everything.

Most likeley there is ice buildup in the venting between fridge and freezer. Then when you try and adjust the control it either goes way too far one way or the other.

Ice buildup, not cooling well

The ice build up on the cooling coils prevents you fridge from cooling properly. You need to unplug it and allow the ice to melt. When the coils are free of ice, the fridge should work better. Hope this helps you.

These appliances are rated for 208 or 230 volts, so the min/max voltage rating would be min 188 v and max 253 volts. Hope this helps

My fridge stays on and freezes everything inside

not a breathing room issue, if anything that would cause it to shut down and not cool at all, where you got just the opposite, it never shuts off. is it an electronic model, or is there a control knob you manullay turn to adjust temp
