I've had my tomtomone for about five months now and everything has been perfectly fine since then. However, all of a sudden the voice stopped working. There is no sound at all--however there is a noise like the speaker turns on, just nothing happens. It's really frustrating because I am very confused when trying to follow directions. Any help?
Put your mouth over the speaker & blow gently, if the diapgragm in the speaker is faulty (probably) this may lodge it back into position. Try it, nothing to loose.

The vibrating sound is probably your heat shield on your exhaust,as you rev the engine the vibration is amplified and may be tripping your knock sensor, try removing the heat shield and see what happens.
Bring it back to the place of purchase since the item is under warranty, this is a manufacture defect and you are in your perfect right to have a replacement.

I have the same problem with my Nuvi 350. It's only about 2 months old and the sound went. I turned it on the other day to use it and the sound did not sound right, it sounded like the speaker was blown. I turned it off and turned it back on and that was it, the sound was gone. I did everything possible and can't get the sound to come back. I called Garmin and now I have to send it in for repair. I looked around the web and noticed that Garmins have big issues with the sound going on the units. I hope they fix that issue.
The camcorder may be in what may be called "narration mode." This function mutes the playback audio so you can narrate with you own voice when playing tapes back. Check for a function like this in the playback sound menu.
We have had our TomTom about a week. It was working fine, then the sounds just quit. Thanks for any help tht works.
