I have a kitchenaid diswasher less than 2 yr old. Model # KUDE60FXBL. I cannot unlock control panel by pushing indicated button as per usual. Is there a reset button?

    Shut the breaker off to appliance for 1 minute. Upon switching breaker on, dishwasher panel reset with control lock off. Solved mystery.

    THANK YOU!! Our 2 yr old KUDS30IXBL user control panel went completely dead. I shut off the breaker (longer than one minute, just to 'be safe') & everything came back when I restored power. So is this a 2 yr old appliance 'feature' that KA has built into their dishwashers??

SOURCE: model mdb7601awb diswasher . Nothing

I have had the board replaced 5 times and the entire dishwasher replaced once. It was necessary to go to the state attorney general to get Maytag to extend the warranty. Just called the service center for the sixth time, after this the warranty will be gone and will replace with something well built.

Locked on heat dry setting
Could the model number actually be KUDE70CVSS2? All of the Kitchenaid dishwashers listed on their site have 4 letters between the numbers.

If this is the right model, then the Heat Dry/Lock is probably indicating the Control Lock is active. Hold the Heat Dry button for at least 4 seconds.The Control Lock which prevents anyone from changing or starting the dishwasher by accident; press and hold for 4+ seconds to toggle it on and off. You can find the manual for most Kitchenaid appliances through their support site: https://www.kitchenaid.com/customer-service/manuals/ . The direct link to the owner's manual for the KUDE70CVSS2 is https://www.kitchenaid.com/digitalassets/MLPDF/User%20Instructions%20-%20W10208709.pdf . The use of the Control Lock feature is on page 5 of the manual.

first push and hold the cancel for 15 seconds and the if that dont reset the control push these buttons

normal wash ,, hi temp scub

How do I turn off the childproof lock on my KitchenAid Superbua dishwasher?
This depends on the exact model of the KitchenAid Superba dishwasher. There is a button on the control panel that will indicate the Control Panel Lock. Usually this is labeled Control Lock (Hold 3 sec) or 4 Hour Delay (Control Lck 3 Sec). The phrase in parentheses is below the key in a smaller font.

Press and hold the button to toggle the lock on and off. Sometimes you have to hold it for more than the listed 3 seconds.

Control Panel lock is on. How do you unlock it?
you need to look at the control panel. it will have a picture of a lock next to 2 buttons. push and hold both buttons for 5 seconds and that will unlock the controls. thats all it takes and it should be fine after that.

My diswasher won't work
Kitchenaids have a diagnostic service mode ... but each model can be different on how to activate. The mode is started by sequentially pressing a number of the control buttons repetitively. The particular sequence is usually listed in service technician paperwork within the dishwasher behind the low kick plate in front of the dishwasher.

KitchenAid Dishwasher (KUDP01FL) - electrical problem
Kill the power to the unit. Pull the control panel down to access the control board located on the right hand side of the panel. There will be 2 wires coming in to a white plastic clip on fuse located on the side of the control board. It will have a plastic pliable shield over it. Pull the 2 wires and check for continuity across this fuse. If no continuity then go to parts house with model number of unit and ask for thermal fuse for your unit. Replace this fuse following the instructions included in the kit and use all the parts included in the kit.

Diswasher stopped working
There is a thermal fuse on the controller that commonly goes out. If you take apart the panel, and see the computer part, there is usually a part clipped on the side with 2 wires on it. When that goes out, it acts like there is no power to the unit. Very easy and in-exspensive to replace if that's it. It's pretty common on those. Good luck
