P0171 FORD - Fuel Injection System Too Lean Bank 1have code P0171 on 2013 Escape - xicon.jpghttp://engine-codes.com/p0171_ford.htmlForum CodePossible causes- Intake air leaks
- Faulty front heated oxygen sensor
- Ignition misfiring
- Faulty fuel injectors
- Exhaust gas leaks
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Lack of fuel
- Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
- Incorrect Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hose connection Tech notes If the P0171 is combined with the P0174 code, it's very likely that the problem is caused by an intake leak. If there are no intake leaks, the next step is to replaced the air filter and clean the air flow meter. If the problem persist the front oxygen (O2) sensor may need to be replaced

Where is the factory preset code for keyless entry on a 2012 ford escape located?

The original door code was indeed on a card with the owners manual. If that is gone, the door code is on a module inside the center console on 2008-2012 Ford Escapes. There is a discussion with pictures at one of the Escape forums: http://www.escape-city.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=8215

I had to find my code on my 2012 Escape.

Oreillie's auto parts tested my 2003 escape gave me the code ignition distributor, engine speed, input circuit, does any one know what I need to fix my escape? Once the escape warms up, it won

Check your wiring to the cam sensor and crank sensor. If everything looks good I would think cam sensor is going bad. Also check connection on ignition module.

2001 Ford Escape 3.0L V6 Engine Code P1409

Had this code for over 2 years on my 02 escape. FINALLY, found the solution. DONT replace your egr vacuum solenoid (unless you see broken pins on the connector). You can always test the solenoid to see if it still works if you suspect the solenoid is the culprit. Rather, most likely the problem will be in your electrical harness that connects from the solenoid to the pcm. I had no visible broken wires. However, in my case, my female connector harness that plugs into the solenoid was faulty. Replaced it by soldering the wires from a "new" harness that i got from the junk yard. If this fails for you, the problem will be almost guaranteed to be in either your pcm hardware or a broken pin at the pcm connection.

Ford escape location of set factory code for entry code on door

on my 2010 ford escape XLT i found the keyless entry code printed on a label on the smart junction box which is inside the center console. To get to the smart junction box follow these instructions.
1. with a non-marring tool(i used a putty knike wrapped in plastic wrap), pry up the chrome trim piece around the shifter.
2. Remove the storage tray from underneath the center console armrest and leave the armrest cover open.
3. Grab the center console finish panel near the cupholders and pull straight up.
4. Pull the finish panel up and back then set it aside.
5. The smart junction box is to the right and slightly ahead of the gear shifter. There should be a label with a bar code that says FoMoCo. In the corner of this label is a 5 digit number. This is the factory code.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2003 ford escape. Check engine light came and my code showed P1405 code. Replaced EGR valve and sensor. Code does not show up on pocket scanner, but the escape stills loses power and will barely...

On alot of cars you must erase the code after repairs, the code is pending in the memory and can still run bad till cleared.try clearing the code
