My email from AOL is not coming up on my iMac

I recently changed my AOL Email Password on my Mac Computer and on my Windows 10 Computer. It worked fine on those devices. But when I tried my email on my Ipad and also my iPhone both were not working even I was putting the new password. I called Aol Email Support for Iphone and Ipad 1888-404-8414. The techs help me to get it fixed.

Do people still use AOL?

1. Tap the Settings icon on your phone's home screen.
2. Tap email + accounts in the settings menu.
3. Tap add an account.
4. Tap on AOL. If you cannot find AOL in the list, tap other account.
5. Type in your AOL email address and password.
6. Tap sign in.

You need to set the outgoing mail server to one you can send from your iphone, ie the one your network carrier lists as you cannot send email through an AOL server unless you are using an AOL connection

Set up an account on iPhone:
From the iPhone Home screen, tap Settings. Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars,” then tap Add Account. Tap an account type:

Enter your account information and tap Save.
If its 'other', the iPhone will try to find your settings based on common email servers. If yours is not found, then you'll need your POP3 and SMTP settings. Done correctly, you'll be able to send your emails from your contact list.

I cannot email pictures from my iPhone I have taken with my iPhone, nor will my iPhone save pictures that others have emailed me.
I also have problems receiving emails that are sent to my iPhone number.
Am I just an idiot?
