Have you recently changed your password? Make sure that you have all the information set up correctly on your Mail application. If it still doesn't work, remove the account, shut down, then re-add it.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

If you need to change your password, look for something like "I forgot my password" or "I forgot my username" - even better, get to this page:

Reset your password

You will receieve a new password on your email. Be sure to also change your email password, and every other account that used the same pass you had on AOL, otherwise the hacker may still access your accounts.

I can't get my aol email in my iPhone I have tried

*Important* Before attempting any of the below steps, please make sure your device has been properly backed up either to your computer or iCloud.
1. Confirm that you are able to sign in with the same user information on AOL's website. If you are unable to, the fix may be as simple as resetting your email password through AOL. (This step should be completed online, not on your iPhone.
2. Are you running the latest iOS? (If unsure, tap "settings" on the iPhone, then "General", and the 2nd tab within General should read "Software Update".) This tab will let you know whether or not your iPhone is completely up to date. If it is proceed to Step 3. If not, simply tap the Update tab and see if it fixes the issue. The majority of iPhone problems can be fixed with a simple software update.
3. Remove all email from the phone under the "mail, contacts, and calendars" in the "Settings" app. Once all email accounts have been deleted from the phone, restart the device and input the email information again only this time choose "Microsoft Exchange" as the account type. If you are unfamiliar with setting up an Exchange account read below -- Email: your AOL email address spelled correctly -- Domain: AOL.com -- Username: AOL username (usually your email address) -- Password: your AOL sign in/email passwordOnce the information is entered correctly, hit the "Next" button in the top right hand corner. Upon verification you will be prompted for the "Server" underneath the "Email" tab. -- Server: imap.aol.comIf none of the above fixes this issue, I would recommend visiting the nearest Apple store as they will either DFU the phone (replace the firmware) or give you a brand new phone. Hope this helps,
Jackson

I would ignore it....it's most likely a scam. Make sure you can get into your aol messenger like normal. DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING IN THE EMAIL.

If you still think it may be a real email, don't click anything in the email. Call AOL directly

I cannot get my email to be directed to my iphone

Email account setup with Mail is easy. If you're setting up an email account for the first time on iPhone or iPod touch, simply touch the Mail icon on the Home screen. If you're adding an additional account with software version 2.0 or later, touch the Settings icon on the Home screen, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars and select Add Account.

If you're setting up a Microsoft Exchange, MobileMe, Gmail, Yahoo! or AOL account, touch the icons for those services on the Add Account screen and enter your account information. If you're setting up an email account from another provider, select Other. In software version 2.0 or later, Mail can automatically setup many popular POP and IMAP email accounts using just your email address and password.1 As Mail looks up settings that match your email account you may see a note appear that will describe any limitations you may experience in using your email account. If Mail cannot find the settings needed to setup your email account, refer to the documentation from your email provider on how to manually setup an email account.

Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch
You use iTunes to sync your email account setttings to iPhone or iPod touch. iTunes supports Mail on a Mac, and Microsoft Outlook (2007 or 2003) and Outlook Express on a PC. See article "Syncing iPhone and iPod touch with your computer" for further details.

Note: Syncing email account settings to iPhone or iPod touch copies the email account setup, not the messages themselves. Whether the messages in your inbox appear on both iPhone or iPod touch and your computer depends on the type of email account you have and how it’s configured. You may need to enter your password on the device after syncing account settings.

Iphone email - sender address invalid

You need to set the outgoing mail server to one you can send from your iphone, ie the one your network carrier lists as you cannot send email through an AOL server unless you are using an AOL connection

I synced my iphone with my outlook email, but still cannot send or receive email from my phone. Do I need to change any settings?

Set up an account on iPhone:
From the iPhone Home screen, tap Settings. Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars,” then tap Add Account. Tap an account type:
Microsoft Exchange MobileMe Google email Yahoo! Mail AOL Other
Enter your account information and tap Save.
If its 'other', the iPhone will try to find your settings based on common email servers. If yours is not found, then you'll need your POP3 and SMTP settings. Done correctly, you'll be able to send your emails from your contact list.

Try quitting your AOL application, and also try turning your computer off for awhile. Maybe AOL will reconfigure itself. Or call the AOL helpline-800-827-6364
