on those types there is a fuse panel cover using old round screw in fuses if a newer one may use fuses similar to car fuses one is iether not tight enough or improper contanct possible grease or oils from cooking

if screw in type check for tightness if tight lossen and remove on bottom is a brass strip gentle pry out a little bit only about a 16th of inch on wipe down with rubbimg alcohol for clean contact

check inside also but turn off power to oven before cleaning these

Experienced recent power outage in my neighborhood. When power came back on, the display on my Bosch Oven HBL5035 now reads "F03 Err". Tried unplugging, but can't get rid of error code and...

sounds like a power surge occurred when power came on and blew out something on the main board. Try looking up the model and model number online and you can find the owners manual then look up the section that tells what the code means. Try unplugging it and leave unplugged for an hour. then plug it in and see if this helps.

Clock constantly flashes `A` and cannot get top or bottom oven to come on. Have tried resetting the clock but the buttons do not appear to be functioning. The mains power `has` been off due to having a...

It looks like the clock has failed. Try leaving the power off for at least 10 mins, turn it back on at the main switch and then try it. If it still doesn't work Espares can get you a new one. Incidentally, if there is power to the oven, the grill will work even if the clock is not set.

We have self cleaning oven and can't get door unlocked. It says "Press and Hold for 3 seconds"

Hello there:
if you have tried the 3 second option and it does not work here is what needs to be done
OK first something to remember
These ovens have a internal memory module that remembers every thng that it has done for a given amount of time and when this 3 second thing does not work this means that you need to clear the memory.
this is done by unplugging the oven from the wall or tripping the breaker
Now leave the oven sit for a minimum of 1 hour and do not touch
Now after the hour is up plug in the oven or set the breaker now you should hear a audiable beep within 5 min if so press the cancel button and your oven door will now open as it used to ok
and also if there is no beep that is ok just press the cancel button.
Hope this si very helpful for you .
Best regards Mike

We had a power outage and now the oven will not come on. cannot set clock etc.

Have you checked your breaker box? It could be that the breaker for the range popped to the off position. If the breaker is still on, try carefully unplugging the range, leaving it unplugged for a few minutes, then plugging it back in.

I have a kenmore electric oven and I saw sparks flying when I was cooking lastnight. It looked like the coil may have a hole in it. When I unscrewed the coil it began shooting sparks when I pulled on it....

first thing u need to do is get the power switched off. if u cannot get at the plug trip the switch in your main fuse box.

u can then remove the element safely and replace it

Error code F 20 on Gaggenau EB 260/262 oven

Sometimes the error light will come on because of mixed signals sent. If everything works, then just ignore it. Unplug the oven or turn power off in fuse box. This may reset the light control. Be very careful around the power source. Wear rubber bottom shoes, have dry hands and floor. Don't touch exposed wires with anything. This is 240 volts that can hurt or kill you!!!!!!

My GE Oven heating element and timer clock went

Try unplugging the oven and let sit for 10 min. This will reset the curcuit board and reboot the electronics. You may have to pull out the stove o get to the cord.

GE JKP45 double wall oven shuts off

This sounds like a loose connection (solder joint) on the main control board. I had one that had a similar problem. checked the price of a control board $350. I took the control panel off, took the board apart and found a loose connection on one of the relays. resoldered the bad connection. oven works fine now.
