Check the capasitors in the power supply. These often have a popped top surface, not flat like normal. These need to be changed. It can be as many as 10-15 bad ones.
Try resetting the system. In standby mode, press and hold the tone button for at least 3 seconds. The message RESET will flash. All turner and system setup info will have to be redone....
