Yes it is possible, you have to install the pritner software on your Sons laptop.

1) For sharing, if you have a network printer connected to your router, then select the network option while installing the printer (If you would have given us the printer model and make we could have given step by step instructions).

2) If the printer is connected to your XP computer and you want to share it, share the printer from XP as mentioned in the steps below.

>> Open Printers and Faxes. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Printers and Faxes.
>> Right-click the printer you want to share, and then click Sharing.
>> On the Sharing tab, click Share this printer and then type a share name for the shared printer (e.g. MyPrinter), click on Apply and Ok. (as shown below)



Now goto the Windows 7 laptop and follow the steps as mentioned below,

>> Click Start >> Click on Devices and Printers >> Click on Add Printer (as shown below)


>> A new window will come up, click on Add a network printer (as shown below)


>> The laptop will search the network for the printer and display it on the list, click on the printer and click on next. The laptop will install the software required, do ensure the printer installation disc is in the laptop in case if Windows 7 wont have the driver it will take it from the disc.

When your son uninstalled the program, the drivers for your camera went with it. You could start using a card reader to download your pics...it's much easier and foolproof.

u cannot re-install windows from the rescue disk that came with the notebook...
it will only rectify if any error is there in ur machine OS...
to install win new u will need a full Windows install CD
u may have to re-format ur HDD and only after that Windows will be installed...so u may lose all data in the disk if any...
be careful...if u have imp data in there dont try that...
take it to tech who can extract ur data first and install windows...

I did some more searching, and discovered that apparently Sakar produced a Vista driver for this camera shortly after I gave up on it last year. (Their support staff said they would notify me if a Vista driver became available, but oh well.)

In any case, there is now a Vista driver for the Crayola camera available on the Sakar website:

Take it back and get him a different camera, I hate to tell you that those special pics may never be recovered. I have been looking for help everywhere for this crappy cam and the pics are so bad you can't hardly see anything even in good light. I still have not gotten the software to work at all. It is junk and they need to get them off the shelves I paid 35.00 for my son's and it isn't worth one penny! Sorry that you lost out on such a important historical moment hope you used your camera too.
