Deleting Factory Songs and Videos For SA30XX Philips MP3 can someone help me i have no idea how to its bugging me

You can delet you files this way...the other problems may go away after you do this


BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.

Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

just connect your player to the pc. after the pc recognizes it enter the mycomputer>philips and select the songs you want to delete, right click on them and click delete. or if you want to delete all the songs, then go to mycomputer right click on the device's icon and give format.a window pops up and in that give start. this action deletes all the data in the device

Download sa3025_97_mcs_eng application from philips web site and you can use this to convert videos/images to required format. Then this files can be easily copied to player through a PC. copying songs is just easy as we do it in pen drive. But copy songs in folder name "MUSIC" only.

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

The only way I found that worked is convert video to WMV first. I used Smart Soft Video Converter but there are many out there. Then convert WMV to SMV using the Phillips SA30XX Media converter on the CD supplied with the unit.

Try the transfer program which is located on the CD or download it from philips site.

This player does not support movies or videos.
