SOURCE: Carousel projector slide not working right. Can

I had a similar problem and was able to get the full view by giving the change button a quick touch for a partial activation. It seems as though the cycle does not complete before the motor is turned off at what should be the end of the cycle. I took it apart to find the problem but did not discover the correction. So the little "flick" on the change button finished moving the slide into position and the "blocker panel"(inside the projector)) out of the way so the whole slide could be seen.

Kodak Carousel 600 Slide Projector manual

The KODAK Carousel 600 Projector has NO forward or reverse controls. To cycle the tray forward, LIGHTLY depress the SELECT bar. Reverse is accomplished by holding the SELECT bar down completely and rotating the tray by hand. Jim

Kodak 600 projector has not advance button

You're correct!! The Kodak Carousel 600 does not have an ADVANCE button. To advance the tray you LIGHTLY depress the SELECT bar on the edge of the projector. There is no reverse capability, other than holding the SELECT bar down fully and rotating the tray by hand. Enjoy your projector!! Jim

Will slides back from 1960 work in a Kodak Carousel Slide Projector?

As long as the slide film is in 2"x2" mounts, yes! I would advise you to use an 80-slide tray as opposed to a 140-slide tray. The individual slide compartments in an 80-slide tray are wider, making it more forgiving to older, possibly warped slides. 80-slide trays can still be purchased from: www.vinevalleyimaging.com. Good Luck! Jim

I need a rotary carrousel for 3000 AF

Your best bet is the internet - do a Google search for a new or used one. Be sure to be specific on the brand and model of the projector you need the tray to fit. "Carousel" is a Kodak trademark, and someone looking to make a quick buck might assume you can use a Kodak tray on your Vivitar (which we know you can't). And there's still a TON of Kodak trays out there. Good Luck! Jim

What is the correct carousel for a kodak 760 H projector?

A KODAK Carousel 760H is designed to be used with either KODAK 140 or KODAK 80 Slide Trays. The KODAK 80 Slide Tray has wider slide compartments, which tend to be more forgiving for older, slightly warped slides.

Problems with using a 140 carousel on a Kodak 4600

There is nothing wrong with your slide trays. Your projector needs an adjustment to the cycle contact assembly. The constant cycle mode is a dead-giveaway. You need to take the projector to an Authorized Repair Dealer for this adjustment. Should be relatively quick - - it takes longer to get the case apart than to make the repair!

I'm having a problem loading a tray onto my kodak carousel 4400 slide projector any solutions?

First, with the tray off the projector, cycle the projector several times in forward and then in reverse. Next, check to make sure the locking ring on the top on the slide tray is LOCKED ON TIGHT. Then turn the tray upside down. On a 140 Slide tray there is an index notch. On the metal plate there is a index hole. Gently release the metal spring of the tray latch and rotate the metal plate until the notch and hole line up. Now the tray should drop on the projector and index properly.

Trying to find a carousel that will fit Navitar model CP-300AF

I am pretty sure that the projectors modified, marketed & sold by Navitar were Kodak projector bodies & slide transports. Assuming this is the case, a Kodak 80 Tray should work just fine!
