Google Chrome Screen Maximization on Mac

Just downloaded Chrome for my work computer and I'm having an issue getting the maximization button to work. All that happens is the box gets slightly smaller, barely filling up half the screen. Any ideas what the problem could be? I searched through all the settings and there wasn't anything that seemed to fix the problem.

SOURCE: screen gets distorted

Mine is doing something very similar now.  I managed to do the Apple Hardware test and it came up with the Error Code 2 FAN/5/7:  Hard Drive.  This leads me to believe that the problem is the fan by the hard drive.  Your problem may be the same thing.  If so, it's just a matter of finding the part and the installation instructions (on the Apple web site).
Try the Apple Hardware Test from the Mac Os Software that came with the computer.  You install Disc 3 and shut down the computer.  Then turn it on and right away press C on your computer. This action will take you to the Hardware test.  Press one of the buttons that does the test and see what results you get.
If you get the same error code you might want to check out welovemacs.com for the fan.

Can notr get google

Google Chrome is a free Internet browser made by Google.
It can be used on computers running the Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems.
If you are having problems with Google Chrome (slow connection, freezes or crashes), you should consider reinstalling the program.
To reinstall Google Chrome, you need to first uninstall the program.
After that, you can reinstall it by using the following directions.

Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.
Select "Download Google Chrome."
Read the service terms and select "Accept and Install."
You cannot install Google Chrome without accepting the terms of service.
Select "OK". This will open the package.
Select "Install Package" and allow the installation to complete.
Choose "Close."
In order to open Google Chrome, you must go to "Applications," then select "Internet" and choose "Google Chrome."
Reinstall Google on A Windows Computer
Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.
Select "Download Google Chrome."
Read the service terms and then select "Accept and Install."
You cannot install Google without accepting the terms of service.
After you accept, the installation will begin automatically.
Allow the installation to finish.
A dialog box will appear
Select "Start Google Chrome".
That will complete its installation and the browser will open automatically.
Reinstall Google on a Mac Computer
Go to http://www.google.com/chrome to download the browser.
Select "Download Google Chrome."
Read the service terms and then select "Accept and Install."
As with the other operating systems, you can't install Google Chrome without accepting the terms of service.
Open the file labeled "Google Chrome.dmg."
A Google Chrome window will open up.
Drag that Chrome icon from the window that opened up to the desktop.
This will start installation.
Open the browser.
The Finder will have you confirm that you want to open the application you downloaded from the Internet.
Select "Open."
You must select this to open the program.
Unlike Windows computers, Macs don't automatically open programs after installation.

I'm only getting the top half of my facebook page. The bottom half is all white.

Did you guys try clearing your cache and cookies? To do so, go to the Wrench -> Options -> Under The Hood. Under the Privacy section, click on the Clear browsing data button. Select to clear the cache and cookies options (note you will be logged out of any sites you're logged into). Towards the bottom, select to clear this data from the past week, then click Clear browsing data.
If you're still having layout issues after doing this, does it work if you try logging into Facebook using incognito mode? Click Control + Shift + N to open an incognito window.
If the two above suggestions don't solve it, please provide your Google Chrome version (go to Wrench menu -> About Google Chrome) and tell us what operating system you're on (e.g. WinXP, Win7, Mac OSX, etc)?

Can not connect with google chrome, no internet

Hi

You don't say which operating system you're using.

Something or someone has changed your browser settings.

Start > Run > type "iexplore.exe" > press Enter.

If the internet works, uninstall Google Chrome and all its components in Add or Remove programs, restart the computer and download and install google chrome again.Start > Control panel > Add or remove programs > google chrome + google chrome updater > remove > remove all >

If you still have problems download malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.com , scan, clean spyware from your system, restart pc and try again.

Hope this helps.

Everytime I use Yahoo to read or write messages it freezes, this can happen for seconds or minutes at a time, sometimes I can only write a single letter then wait 30 seconds before I can write the next and...

It could be that you're using an old version of your browser. Yahoo news and other sites are relying heavily on javascript. If you have an old browser, it will get slower or even crash.I was having same issues. I installed chrome: http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/make/download-mac.html?&brand=CHMB&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-sk&utm_medium=ha it's a faster browser from google and all my problems went away.
