If you have a micro sd disk in your rumor, remove it, then try restarting again. This works in the Rumor and I'm guessing the Rumor 2 has the same bug that 'tries' to boot off of the micro sd disk. Once it starts up normally you can re-insert the micro sd disk.
I had this problem too. Do you have a micro sd disk installed? If so, remove the micro sd disk. When you restart it should start right up, and then you can put the micro sd disk back in and all should work normally. I know, it is a big pain in the rear. For some reason when it boots up, IF there is a micro sd disk in, it tries to boot from the sd disk, and can't get out of that cycle. I don't like little bugs like this and will wait and see if I buy a rumor 2 or not the next time I replace one of my other phones.
Try letting the phone die by letting the battery run down. Then charge it back up and see if it will work. If not, you will have to take the phone into a repair center or store.
You will need to contact your service provider to have it replaced under warranty. As long as it does not have water damage or major physical damage it shouldn't be a problem.
well, you could try to turn it off for a night and then you could see if it works or you could go to the sprint store and ask them and they will give you a new phone if there is not any damage
I was at the Best Buy store last night and they explained it to me. I didn't realize it was just a memory card thing. I thought I was missing a cord or something I needed to hook the phone up to the computer. So, all good now. thanks!
he "rumor screen" started flashing and now we can't get it to do anything
Did you have your phone reflashed and did it work?
