SOURCE: 2005 Ford Escape Hissing sound

The power brake booster has a bad valve. I can't suggest where to find a new valve for it, but you can buy a rebuilt replacement. They are usually not hard to put on.

SOURCE: 05 ford escape wont start. jump started it and it

okay try this....talk to your parts store and get a battery load tester, and find out if the battery is indeed dead. My guess is it sounds like the Altenator is dying. they are around 50-100 and can be install by a pro in minutes.

SOURCE: My ford escape 2005 start to vibrate shortly after

You could have a worn out U joints, if your only getting the vibration during the acceleration period. Check the condition of the U joint to the drive shaft and tires. Good luck and hope this helps.

My 2002 ford escape has a miss when i first start it in the morning and a ticking sound .But go's away after it warms up .A mechanic told me it could be a computer problem .Has any body else had

ill tell you right now its not the computer the computer has nothing to do with the engine knocking run some sea foam throught the engine let it run for about 15-20 min then change the oil and filter this will clean all the gunk out of the engine it may help what it is is you got valve lashes in the engine they are like a push rod and lifter combined in one i had the same problem in my 2001 f-150 i ended up replacing the valve lashes... who ever told you it could be the computer well to be honest i WOULDNT take my car to them the are trying to get money it sounds like to me cuz the computer is electrical not mechanical and a engine knock is mechanical

When the engine is cold the radiator indicator light comes on when I start it and goes off about 5 minutes later.

The coolant level is probably low again. Once the engine warms up the level in the tank would rise.

2001 Ford Escape ticking sound when engine is started.

Oil viscosity is too thin or broken down..Change the oil to a thicker grade. If the ticking persist worn Hydralic lifters or worn oil pump

Leaks will occur after a few years with any engine so repair them as soon as possible if its a large one

hav car scanned for free at a parts place--that fan shud be fixed engine wont start cause a sensor keeps it that way from overheating--also certain modules age and become hot and need to cool to function--u may need a throttle body cleaning

I have a 2003 Mercedes C240. When it starts up there's a humming noise that quits after a few minutes, but when the car starts moving it starts clicking.

THE HUMMING NOISE IS YOUR SECONDARY AIR INJECTION PUMP. THEY TEND TO BE NOISEY AT START-UP. IF IT IS NOT WORKING COREECTLY IT WILL SET A CHECK ENIGNE LITE. THE CLICKING NOISE IS NORMAL IF IT GOES AWAY AFTER WARM-UP. THESE MOTORS ARE NOISEY WARMING UP DUE TO THE HYDRAULIC LIFTERS.
