Cannot Hear the Ringer

We have not had this typed of problem before
but I have gone through the guide regarding to turning the ringer up
while it is both ringing and in idle mode but the ringer wont turn on.
Any other suggestions?

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

The ringer is actually a wav.file from the Mitel IP Set, it is not a physical bell/ ringer.

Does the phone ring when you call it internally?

Try using the speaker phone, it the speaker phone is working then it is not the speaker in the set.

Might be the wav.file is missing in the set.

It's either that -or- the IP set is not programmed to ring on incoming lines.
