No, that is not due to battery. Your mouthpiece or receiver's earpiece might be bad. To make sure, please record something and try playing it. If you can hear what you recorded, your mouthpiece is fully functional. Now test whether the receiver earpiece is not working. Tell the receiver to set his phone is speakerphone mode. If he can hear what you say in speakerphone mode, then the receiver's earpiece is not fully functional.
Hope this helps.
There are two ways on how you can hear the caller. One is through the earpiece and one is through the phone's speaker.
Are you able to hear the caller but just not clear or with static sound? If yes, then you have a problem with the earpiece of your phone. You can test this by putting it to a speaker phone. If you can hear the caller clearly then you should have your earpiece check. Usually this problem is caused when the earpiece is often moisted or get wet. Try blowing a canned air on the earpiece.
Please let me know how this goes. Thank you for using FIxYa.
Have your unit brought back from where you bought it,
the phone mic piece or microphone is damaged this should be replaced, thats why they cant hear you.
I would not recommend it replaced by yourself, this would void your warranty, and e63 phones is quite sensitive
