During the boot process you will see on the screen a certain key to press to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key this will vary depending on your computer and operating system
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS ,You will also need to set the time and date
In the main or system setup screen you should be able to see the date and time Using your arrow keys navigate to the date and change the date. Once highlighted on the month, day, or year, press your arrow keys or your page up / page down keys to change the date. press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

Restart your computer during the boot process tap the f8 button three times this will boot into safe mode where the only things working will be your mouse and keyboard enabling you to attempt to repair your computer Advanced Boot Options screen appears.

Select the Safe Mode option using the up and down arrow keys, then press the ENTER key. Choose "Windows XP Home/Professional", depending on the version of the operating system.

Press ENTER. Shortly, the welcome screen should show.
Log in as "Administrator". Click Yes to not use System Restore Mode.

Click the Start button. Choose Run and type in "control user passwords" (without the quotes). Click OK.

Select the "Administrator" user. Click Change my password. Enter a new password in the corresponding text boxes. Click OK. Write this password down and store it in a secure place Close the User Accounts window and restart Windows.
hope it helps

I have a SYNET07526 Prroduct name Netbook. The problem I'm having is that it keeps asking for a password but I dont know it because I only got this thing yesterday, and I never gave it a password

In order to help you with your password problem, I need some details:
-Is the screen asking for password a black screen just at the start up of the computer?
-Is the screen asking for password just after the Windows started, asking for user and password?
-Has the computer available cd/dvd rom in order to use it as a boot device?
-What is the operating system you use on this computer, if the computer haas ever started? (Windows XP, Vista, Win 7)

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

Insert OS cd in drive and start reinstalling by selecting repair mode now once all files are loaded system will reboot when you see the Installing Devices progress bar, press SHIFT + F10
this will give you access to your account also you can reset all passwords
Now restart lappy and let the system boot normally without OS cd in drive

Before trying those if you try and boot into safe mode assuming its not joined to a domain and or no one has set a password for the administrator account in safe mode then you may be able to reset it that way.

There is also this way
