to test the presure sensor jump the wires that plug in to the sensor if it turns on the presure sensor is bad and the the thermostat do you mean thermo sensor the one that checks the water tep follow the wires to were they plug in turn power off get your finger wet and put it were it plugs in on the 2 prong and turn it on the heater will light up if the sensor is bad

SOURCE: Heater Manifold Return Header Assembly 471991: I have water leaking from my minimax CH 200 heater...
This is likely a leaking heat exchanger. These usually fail due to improper water chemistry. This can happen in less than a year if the chemistry is messed up enough. Most culprits are putting chlorine tablets in the skimmer and running the pH or Total Alkalinity tooo low. HTH

Check your SENSOR. With the Minimax ch heater, you might be using an 'IntelliTouch' panel that controls your equipment. If you are, check the reading that the panel says the water temperature is and then check the temperature of the water 'coming out' (spa??) manually with a floating thermometer. When the heater cycles off, check the difference between the 2 numbers. Say the panel says 102 & the thermometer says 95?? - that is a faulty sensor, telling the heater that the water has reached 102, so it cycles off before ever getting hot. If you're not using the IntelliTouch, you will be checking the display panel on the actual heater itself & again the floating thermometer. Now... if the temperature is less than a 4 degree difference you can always calibrate/or have calibrated the heater.

Check out this link: http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/pools/msg0522222224880.html
Per this link, these are the parts that you'll need to replace:
Natural gas burner tray 472028
Propane burner tray 471931
Propane gas valve 471671
Remember to always be safe around electricity and gas lines. If you're not sure then hire a professional.
If this has helped, please give me the appropriate thumbs up! Thanks, and good luck!
