okay what you do is go to start documents and copy this to the address bar "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center" after you do that click on manage wireless networks on the side now click on your internet profile and hit delete after its deleted search and find you internet and set it up again
In your laptop Open Control Panel > Network internet > Network and Sharing Center > Set up new connection or network > match with setting in your PC > Finish. Try to reconnect.
Under network & sharing center ...... go to manage wireless network ......
Configure the wireless settings manually .....try to connect to network ......
You can access your router's programming by hooking straight up via ethernet cord, and typing 192.168.1.1 If it asks for username and password, type admin for both. Make sure internet settings are all set to automatic settings and no proxy if you are using cable.
Try checking if the laptop's wireless button is switched to on. It helps a lot! On my laptop, you have to switch a button to turn the wireless on. If i don't it's impossible to get a connect.
>Start >Control Panel >Network and Sharing Center >Manage Wireless Network >Double Click on your Wireless Network or SSID > Click on "Security" tab >On "Security Type" click on down arrow to select "No Authentication (Open) " >Click OK and it should connect !
Under "Under network & sharing center", click "Manage Wireless Network", and configure the wireless settings (including the wireless authentication method and key) that is appropriate for your router.
