okay what you do is go to start documents and copy this to the address bar "Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Center" after you do that click on manage wireless networks on the side now click on your internet profile and hit delete after its deleted search and find you internet and set it up again
if you have wireless acces point or 802.11 known as wi-fi, there might be a problem in your laptop internet protocol, you laptop have an ip address already. you can fix it by using your desktop, open your desktop go to control panel/network connection/status/ details. copy the details information and put it to your laptop internet protocol. you can found it in network connection properties you can see Internet Protocol (tcp/ip) open it configure it manually. the last number of the ip address must bigger than the desktop. ex, 192.168.1.2 in desktop. the ip address of the laptop must be 192.168.1.3.
In your laptop Open Control Panel > Network internet > Network and Sharing Center > Set up new connection or network > match with setting in your PC > Finish. Try to reconnect.
You need to remove the wireless network from your preferred networks list and reconnect to it.
1. Right click on the wireless icon (picture of a computer) on your system tray. 2. Click on Network and Sharing Center. 3. On the upper left hand side of the page , click on Manage Wireless Networks 4. Right click on you network name and click Remove/delete 5. Now reconnect to your network.
See there are some old settings saved on your computer for the same wireless network name. I believe the operating system on your computer is windows VISTA / 7 . Now you will need to remove the network from the preferred network list. then add the new network on your computer and you will be able to connect to the network. Make sure that you have all the wireless settings of your network. If you are not sure about the wireless settings of your network then you will need to check the wireless settings of the network.
go to your acer and go to net work then net work again and in the tabs above choose add device to net work click on that and put a usb flash drive in and download to flash drive and put the drive in hp and it should automatically run the set up and start to work
right click my computer

scroll down till you find your network
click it and then update
after updating restart

Under "Under network & sharing center", click "Manage Wireless Network", and configure the wireless settings (including the wireless authentication method and key) that is appropriate for your router.
