Check that the drain hose is not opbstructed first, that is the most common cause for this problem.

My Whirlpool spins... It just does not do a very good job

It's very possible that the impeller in the drain pump is striping out and not allowing the pump to get up to high enough spin to completely drain.

When there is a large load of clothes in the washer my washer does not spin fast enough to get the water out of my clothes, what is wrong with my washer?

You don't have to fill too much the washer, leave 1/4 of the cylinder free (if it's a front load washer) or check the maximum level for the top-load washer.
Be careful not to compress the clothes.
The weight that the washer can manage is the weight of the WET clothes.

More technically: the washer need to balance the drum before to spin-dry and for this it needs some free room in the drum. There is a sensor that check that there isn't too much vibrations during the spin-dry, otherwise it stops!

Hot water stops filling too soon.

Fill setting has to be adjusted and the belt is slipping on the spin cycle and not generating enough centrifugal force to get the water out.

Your transmission is starting to go bad. It is not creating enough power to spin the clothes fast enough to dry them. It is cheaper to look for a new washer . To fix the transmission will cost you over 400 I would do light loads until your able to get a new washer

The washer does not spin

depends on whether or not you can ring out enough water to allow your dryer to actually do it's job and not get broken down by the excess weight of the overly wet(not just damp) clothes your trying to dry.My question is. Is it worth the back-breaking work your going to have to go through just getting the clothes dry enough for your dryer?

Broken washer/dryer

This sounds like a motor control board is faulty. Please load a couple of towels in the machine run it. Watch the machine as it goes through its' cycles.

1. Do the towels tumble when the machine is washing ?
2. When it begins to spin, does it spin one way at a fast pace or does it spin one way and then the other ?

Answering these two questions will help in troubleshooting your problem.

Kenmore 90 Series, clothes wet after spin

First thing you need to check is the speed of the spin cycle. As long as you are not overloading the machine, it should spin the clothes pretty dry. the basket drive may need to be replaced. If it is spinning very fast, then check the drain hose, make sure the water is coming out nice and fast. If not you may have a water pump problem even lint clogged inside it.
